They don’t offer breakfast (well a take away (option), but there is not a little fridge in the room to cater for yourself. But there are heaps of options of course in town.

A nice spacious room and a very good bed. The whole place was just done up. A short walk to town.

Car park needs a little attention as a little tricky parking. Bathroom sink is tiny and part of the toilet cistern. Clever design for small space but also tricky to use.

Had a lovely yesterday feel but with renovated amenities and fixtures. Beautiful sun lounge and bar looking over harbour and Oban. Easy short walk to town centre. Didn’t need the car.

The car park can be a little awkward to negotiate.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well organised. The common dining and sitting rooms are comfortable and recently refurbished, with a good view.

It was not really like a hotel i.e. no dining facilities and limited front desk service, because as mentioned they seem to be either refurbishing or bringing this premises back into use but this was not an issue for us. The staff were very pleasant and helpful .

no breakfast available on site but we were given a great heads up from staff about a local breakfast place. The location is superb with lovely sea view . They are clearly upgrading this property and it will be fabulous when finished. We were pleasantly surprised as it was good value for money. Our room was very clean, bed very comfortable, good shower etc.

It is near the town centre with lots of things to do. The room is bright.

The car park not great for low cars have to be very careful parking and need to be extra careful if turning left into the town not every one drives a SUV

Unfortunately, the information on Booking.com with regard to breakfast was wrong – breakfasts are no longer provided. Although there were places in the town where we could have gone out for breakfast, we chose to buy our own croissants, cheeses etc and we gathered together in one of our sitting rooms to share breakfast together - so all worked out well.

I booked 3 rooms for 3 couples here for an overnight stay prior to taking the ferry to Mull. Our accommodation was very spacious with a sitting room attached to each bedroom. We also had the use of the bar and veranda for meeting up and sitting together. The hotel is well situated - it was an easy walk from the hotel down the hill to the shops, churches and seafront, or up to the ‘colosseum-like’ McCaig’s viewpoint. Parking at the hotel was good and we were able to leave our cars there after checkout until we needed to take them to the ferry.

Room is looking tired and would benefit from refurb

No food on offer except take away continental breakfast, would’ve preferred option of evening meal and cooked breakfast. Didn’t request quiet room, did request sea view which we got.

No breakfast available except a breakfast box. Car park slopes on an angle and it's impossible to park a motorbike on it safely. We had to park outside reception. The beds were 2ft 6" singles and very hard and uncomfortable. Hardly anywhere to hang your clothes.

The room was clean and tidy. The receptionist was warm and friendly.
