I had room 3 that is a bit on the small side. Ok for one or two nights as a sole traveller but wouldn't be comfortable for a longer stay. I've stayed previously and had room 1 and that was much bigger.

Its a very relaxed and welcoming place and excellent location. Breakfast was good.

The only downside was the separate bathroom, although it was adjacent to our bedroom, for our private use and it was very well appointed. Understandable given the age of the property and the owners had thought of everything, even providing robes for guest use. A hook in the bathroom for bathrobes might be good addition.

The hotel is a fine building which has been carefully renovated and decorated to a high standard. Greeted by the owner, who showed us to our room and chatted to us. Time arranged for breakfast, great choice and service. Very comfortable, pleasant and clean room with view of the garden. Really comfortable bed. Mini-bar with fresh milk for tea/coffee was a nice touch.

A brilliant place to stay. Great location and parking. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious room, with a beautiful view of the water. Wonderful fluffy towels and linen. Clean, with many luxurious touches. Delicious and generous breakfast. 10/10!

Nothing could have been better quite honestly.

The location was tremendous, close to the waters edge and over the road from a small Tesco. I'm a vegan so breakfast I expected to be limited. It wasn't, the chef let me pick and choose to build my own cooked vegan breakfast! It wasn't at all a stuffy place, very relaxing atmosphere. I'd like to return for a longer stay in the future.

We were only sad to learn that the owners may be retiring. Having just discovered this fabulous B&B, we would love to stay again.

5 stars all round ✨️ We loved our stay and felt welcomed and looked after from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Exceptionally lovely staff, all of whom were friendly, competent, happy to chat, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. We can't thank them enough. Our elderly pug was greeted warmly and allowed to accompany us to breakfast. He even had his own lorne sausage. Breakfast was incredible! We had the full Scottish and the veggie Scottish and I've never had a better breakfast. Every bite was delicious. Truly spectacular. We only had a one night stay but we are already planning to return.

The property itself is lovely and the room was very clean. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Really dog friendly, with a gate at the bottom of the garden that takes you directly to the loch shore. The only comment would be that the TV did not work, we tried every which way but even YouTube videos were blocked. Thankfully there was as an excellent bookcase downstairs though, filled with great books.

The B and b welcomes dogs. I dont want my dog in my room and I felt that perhaps a couple of kennels or garden sheds where dogs could sleep would be a good addition. Mine slept in the tool shed!

Breakfast was excellent. The guy who cooked te poached eggs even shared his method ! Good position, nice garden.
