Very central, and the restaurants and bars were fantastic

In the middle of the town. Comfy bed. Staff are great. Breakfast was perfect.

Checking in after 4pm but understand lack of staff maybe? Would prefer to check in earlier.

Right in the middle of Dolgellau and a short walk from the pubs serving evening meals. A friendly host and a good breakfast in the morning. Ideally placed for cyclists wanting to ride along the Mawddach estuary into Barmouth.

Our room was a bit on the small side but we were only stopping one night so it didn’t matter too much.

Location in the town and close to walking routes we wanted to do. Breakfast (although a very small window of 1 hour)

It is somewhat tired and in need of updating. The layout of the room made it difficult to move around and things were not in the place we expected them to be. It was dusty with a fusty smell. There were no hooks to hang towels or coats, broken drawer handles and it was cluttered. This seems overpriced for the amount we paid.

Quiet location but very central to town centre. A hidden gem!

My bed was a little tired, as was I in the morning.

Breakfast is always delicious, stayed here a few times now and always our 1st choice in Dolgellau. Rooms are small but each one delightfully decorated and beds very comfortable. Only negative is no parking at hotel but plenty of options nearby, you just have to be flexible - never had a problem.

It was clean and comfortable, the owner and staff were very friendly and efficient and the breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal for getting around Dolgellau and the surrounding area.

Duncan and his team were super friendly and really looked after us. The rooms were spotless and had all we needed for our two night stay. Breakfast was amazing from selection to service. We would definitely stay again

The double bed was a bit hard for me but then I am a sensitive soul. One of the beds in the twin room had a lumpy mattress.

Everything was great. A B&B at its best. Very friendly, welcoming host. He gave us tips on things to do in the area. Great breakfast. Vegetarian and vegan selection. We loved the fact that the room had everything you need, down to a phone socket at the bed, tea and coffee facility, blinds for the windows, etc. Comfortable beds. The area is great for hiking, beautiful scenery.

The location is superb, hosts very friendly and welcoming. We stayed only for 1 night however our stay was pleasant. Beautiful well looked after garden, the property was xceptionally clean and great value for money. It is slightly dated but it has its charm. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the breakfast tasty. We had a fan in our room which was a life saver as it was 31°C outside that day. We travelled with our dog, there is no extra charge and we got a couple of sausages for him which was very nice. I recommend Ivy House as it's a great value for money.
