Amazing place, truly stunning view from the windows directly to the sea 🌊 Everything great, very clean and well-thought. Handy in a room: microwave, fridge, plates, cutlery, cups, tea, coffee and fresh milk. We booked breakfast and it was very delicious and freshly cooked for us. Was a pleasure to eat it in beautifully design room. Very recommended!

The location is great and it’s clean and it’s has that authentic seaside vibe. I was surprised about how good the windows were in terms of keeping the noise down ! Richard was very accommodating and friendly , extremely kind and just great host.

Not a problem for us but just to advise that there are no ground floor bedrooms so not suitable if stairs are a difficulty for someone .

Really liked our stay, the room is very nice and clean and has fantastic sea views. Location wise you cannot get closer to the sea which is less than one minute walk, about 15minutes walk from the center, 5 minutes walk from the pier. There is a bus stop in front of the house if you need but we done everything walking as the weather was beautiful. Comfortable bed, great shower and delicious breakfast. There is a kettle and a microwave in the room as well if needed as well as tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk. Richard is very welcoming and helpful, very easy host. we will definitely come back next time we are in Eastbourne.

2 night stay at this hotel, Richard is the perfect host. Very dog friendly, even gave my pooch a vegan sausage. The room is right across from the promenade/beach with a balcony to sit on. The shower room is external from the room but right across the hall, the room does have an ensuite toilet. The bonus was a fridge in the room.

The location is brilliant. Lively sea view we stayed in a room with a balcony. So lovely to open the door in the morning and sit drinking tea on the balcony looking at the sea.

Everything was excellent, we were able to check-in early, the family room was clean and had everything we needed. Great views of the sea, and well located. The Breakfast was excellent as well. Richard was great would definitely recommend staying here.

A very cozy hotel with a warm and lovely host -- that’s why I chose to stay here again on my second visit to Eastbourne. The interior is beautifully decorated and full of character. My favorite part is the duvet — it’s soft and smells wonderful. I’ll miss this place.

Great location close to the pier and our room had a sea view. Richard was a great host always gives good tips for things to do and see in Eastbourne.

the room was lovely, loved the decor, very cosy and warm. had an amazing view of the sea and the pier. The breakfasts were the breakfasts of champions! delicious, perfectly cooked and very filling. Good coffee too which was great.

Just a tad noisy from traffic on first night.

It was a lovely old style house, very clean and freindly. There's no lift, so if yr on the 3rd floor it certainly keeps you fit

Going home.

Richard was a great host and gave us the benefit of his knowledge of the area at breakfast. We stayed 4 nights and had breakfast every morning. There was a good choice of cooked fare and we both tried kippers which were superb. The view from room 5 was as good as it gets in Eastbourne and we enjoyed a couple of drink while looking out at the sea. We walked from the hotel to East Dean, Beachy head and Sovereign Harbour, all great walks with magnificent views. Local eateries are reasonably priced and we really enjoyed the Thai Restaurant Sabadee.

The only thing I would say is its a bit pricey as it didn't include breakfast which was dissapointing

A little noisy at times with window open during the night but couldn't be helped being along the sea front

Beautiful location and a lovely room with a view of the sea Richard was very friendly and helpful, and it was a pleasure to be there. Amazing home cooked breakfast too! Will definitely return
