The price was high though I believe this was because it was the last weekend of the fringe festival and there were several large concerts on at the same time

Great location. Bus stop right in front of hotel. The Carvery was the cheapest dinner we had on the trip. Breakfast was good. Parking is really super and the back entrance from the parking lot to the rooms is great. The security is superb.. Liked the pub too. People were really nice. Would definitely come again.

Unfortunately we did hear a bit of noise from our neighbours above us, that impacted how we slept sometimes. I also felt that it could have been a bit cleaner, particularly in the bathroom (found some strands of hair) and the room floor could be vacuumed more thoroughly.

Overall, we did have a nice stay. We particularly liked the staff as they were very friendly with us. Particularly with me as I have dietary restrictions, I really felt like they went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The location was okay (on the outskirts) but relatively easy to get to the centre.

Small room. No AC during very warm weather. Windows wouldn't open more than an inch. Not a great breakfast. Considering the cost not great value.

Our room was right next to the stairwell and it was quite noisy when other guests arrived or left.

Good sized room with a lovely bathroom and shower. Location is convenient for the airport or a relatively short journey into central Edinburgh. We didn’t take up the breakfast option but it looked like it was very good value for money.

We booked breakfast because of the great reviews, but it was actually disappointing. The selection was very limited — only fried eggs, hash browns, sausages, and beans. Everything was extremely greasy and swimming in oil, with no fresh vegetables at all. You could ask for an apple at the reception, which felt strange — why not simply put them on the buffet?

The hotel was nice, nothing particularly special. It had a good shower and a comfortable bed. The location is a bit far from the city center, but very convenient for the airport.

The location of the hotel was a little far out but very easy to get to with the excellent bus service. The room was lovely and quiet at the back of the hotel, nice big comfy bed, could do with some better pillows they weren’t the best. Good shower. Food was not amazing, have had better at other Toby’s. The staff in the restaurant however were very lovely.

Because it’s on a main road it can be a bit noisy but once windows are closed and you’re tired you do get to sleep.

The property was in a good location. Bus stop was right outside and the buses were frequent into the town. The oasis concert was on at the same time as the fringe which meant it took longer than usual to travel though. All staff from front staff, to waitresses to cleaners were all very friendly and helpful and made the stay enjoyable. Angela was so funny and friendly and gave us advice when we asked. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

The room was not sound proof at all, you can hear people talking in the other room. Also there is a busy road right outside, so it was quite noisy.
