The toiletries need to be topped up and bathroom could do with a facelift and a lot of paint peeling off the walls. Rooms were very warm but due to the road noise unable to open the window.

Nice spacious room for family of 4. Just a short walk from a park. Pub has a nice outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Food was good but not the cheapest and the gas had gone of the soft drinks machine so the only option was to buy bottled drinks which added up. Was a nice spot to visit other local areas.

Paintwork in the room could do with a bit of refreshing as lots of peeled paint patches and a bit in the bathroom too. Little bit of mould stain on bathroom wall. Cups in the bathroom dirty with old toothpaste on the bottom and a bit smelly but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the room itself.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast very tasty.

At breakfast, it wasn’t table service as such, as guests were required to go up to the bar and put in their breakfast order. I think this led to a bit of confusion and it could’ve been better organised or explained.

The room was small but comfortable and big enough for our 2 night stay, our only criticism was that the quilt was a odd shape, only just covered the width of the bed but too long for the quilt cover, with the inner sticking out of the bottom by about a foot, quilt cover also had a small rip in it. It didn't really affect our sleep. it just didn't look very good.

The staff were very good, particularly Bruno and Vito. Bruno checked us in, explained the facilities and meal times, and served us in the bar in a friendly and professional manner. Vito looked after us in the restaurant. He was friendly, chatty, and served us efficiently, explaining meal and wine options in the evening and again at breakfast. Meals were excellent, nice choice and cooked well. A great choice of different breakfasts, probably the best we've had in a lot of hotel stays. Fantastic choices, and again, it was cooked well.

Rooms way too small, it was hot and the room was very stuffy cos you could not open window very much. Luckily we had a fan!!! The humidity was almost unbearable BUT I live in Australia and we have airconditioned rooms as standard.

Convenient location near Royal Tunbridge Wells. Wonderful breakfast. Great spacious shower. Only a double bed but very comfortable. Lovely staff. Charming building. Great parking.

If I went again I would request a room as far back from the road as possible to avoid the road noise.

Pleasant spot,if somewhat noisy due to the proximity of the busy road.Bar was pleasantly appointed,offering well cooked food,served by helpful staff.Convenient for buses,and closeness to Hever Castle,Chartwell,Royal Tunbridge Wells.

some of the staff where not in uniform. and simple mistakes were made, such as wrong food to our table ir was for another table, and not listening properly to drink orders.

Came as family of four and sofa bed wasn’t made upon arrival. Not great when you’ve had 5 hours in the road to then have to make the bed. Thought that wasn’t a great start but everything else was great.

Pricey and the bathroom was rather small

The room was very large and clean. Pleasant staff. Good food at your convenience. A restaurant/pub downstairs, with nice outside space. Great for the summer. Well located for my purpose, decent views of a park to the side and front. quiet sleep.

Quilt on bed was to heavy for the weather we are having. Should be a choice in room.

Breakfast was nice. However thought I had booked B&B but when I got there had to pay extra which I thought was not really acceptable. Breakfast should be included in price.

Bed was small. Upstairs there is no airco, only a very small window can be be opened for 10cm max. So with temperature outside between 25-30degree, the room is far too warm during the night. There is a little fan, but that does not make any difference.

Good location and good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Airco in restaurant is good. Bathroom is modern and clean.
