The room (10) had 7 stairs both up & down to the bathroom, which was only one stair height below the actual bedroom - why was this? It seemed ridiculous given the eves height & was very annoying given that my husband is 6’ & 82 & constantly banged his head on the way to the bathroom in the night! Also, as reported to the staff, the loo & the shower leaked & the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t turn off - at all, day or night. There was no auxiliary way to override this. The bed was quite hard, most places we stay the beds have either a memory foam mattress or a mattress topper. We are used to a Visprung mattress at home & usually find a Hypnos or similar mattress in hotel rooms so found this a very hard mattress & therefore did not sleep as well as expected. Very much looking forward to a good nights sleep now we are home. There was nowhere to unpack your suitcases such as a fold up suitcase rest; it could do with a make up mirror in the bathroom as the mirrors were so far away a short sighted person such as myself cold not see in them!

Spacious room (although would not have suited anyone with mobility issues) and very spacious bathroom! The hotel was full of character. Very nice atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Preferred not ground floor but forgot to ask and bed seemed a bit small but not much to complain about.

Staff very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Evening meal very good. My husband enjoyed his beer. Plenty of hot water in shower.

The staff were busy and check in was rushed, if you were hoping for an evening meal, book a table before hand as they were full. This won't deter us from booking again in the future.

Window areas were very grubby. Balls of dead flies and dirt in windowsill . Also the price has gone up by 3x for the same time next year as they have cottoned on its Silverstone weekend

info about breakfast could be easier to find - could not see this on my booking - also I have already fed back one re the stay so this is about the third time of receiving a request.

wasn't actually sure if breakfast was included - couldn't see this info anywhere - some things were which we discovered - no idea how you got the toast though. Room was very nice - shame all rooms have showers - I do like a bath and try to book rooms with a bath. Dinner was very nice - good prices.

As I said we have stayed here a few times. We have noticed a slow decline in the food to the point that we will use a local restaurant next time we stay .The decor in the rooms is getting a little tired as well

We have stayed before so knew what we were getting. check in easy, friendly staff, I arrived a liitle early and they had my room ready. I was glad I was in an internal room a the traffic starts early and is very noisy, with the heat,not opening a window would have made it very uncomfortable

The bedroom was out dated. Bathroom door had mould and was rotting at the bottom. Sticky substance on the bathroom floor. Nasty coffee/tea stain on bedroom carpet. My breakfast came out 5 minutes before my husband's.
