My sausages on my breakfast were over cooked and difficult to eat. My husband was given a pint which was cloudy and then was told it was the end if the barrel

The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was average.

Rooms needed attention, and the standard of cleanliness was very average... whilst we'll presented and containing everything you needed, there was dead and squashed insects everywhere, cobwebs etc. Staff were very busy so attentiveness and helpfulness was intermittent.

    Great spot centrally located.

The main issue we experienced was that our family room was very hot, even with the window open. The room would benefit from air conditioning or fans. My wife did not sleep well as a result.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful despite being very busy. The breakfast was excellent with many interesting options. The room was spacious, with an excellent shower and TV. It was an easy walk to Loch Lomond and Balloch Castle.

Nothing really, but restaurant and bar closes fairly early compared to what we’re used to, but minor issue.

Lovely rooms in great location on the loch. Very reasonably priced and good restaurant and breakfast choice. Friendly, helpful staff, who worked really hard.

Staff seem to under pressure. Evening meal was slow with two of our party having to return meals as were cold. Breakfast was late as we were awaiting staff to turn up for work

Nice hotel in a lovely nice location. Rooms were large and comfortable. The bathroom was to a high standard.

The room wasn’t really clean, there were visible stains on the walls and the carpet.

Food was OK, but nothing special. Not the best quality ingredients. A few areas are looking a bit tired e.g chipped paint and furniture.

Fantastic location with great walks nearby and local attractions. Bedroom was a good size, comfortable and a good view of the river and bridge. Place was clean and styled nicely.

The staff in the restaurant were rushed off their feet. They had a tough Wednesday night, and they could have done with another couple of bodies, especially as they had a birthday party going on in one of the private rooms. I also hope they are paid well; they probably aren't, but they should be.

Great staff. Good food. Stunning location. Big room.

We were in room 10 which requires multiple sets of stairs to get to and has a view of the tar covered roof and garbage cans out one window and the parking lot out the other.

The food was incredible- dinner and breakfast!!! The staff was so super friendly. The bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet! And outside the hotel are beautiful walking paths along lac lomond!

The breakfast was cooked to order and was absolutely fantastic. The room was nice enough but the toilet was a bit tired, paint peeling off the ceiling etc. We looked on to the church at the back and there was significant noise from something during the night. We did have the window open as it was very hot. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was very disappointed with the room we were allocated even though we booked six months in advance asking for a room with a view.We were given a room with two windows, one was looking out onto three very large commercial bins and the other looked out into the yard where the empty beer barrels were stored,we had the noise from the drayman doing their deliveries and picking empties in the morning as well, luckily we were up early as this would have woken us.I understand that not all rooms have a view but this room must have worst views in hotel, not what I was looking forward to.

The room was decorated nicely ,clean and a good size also comfortable bed.Dinner was excellent at hotel as was breakfast.Room quiet at night.Staff friendly.Hotel in a good position for walks along to Loch Lomand.
