Had a wonderful stay here! Lovely location in a beautiful village. The cottage is so homey and welcoming! The breakfast was incredible with a wide range of choice and the little kettle with teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room was most welcomed. The room and bathroom were very clean and we were both grateful for the heating being on when we entered the room! Highly recommend! I am looking forward to staying here again :)

Pauline and Trevor made us feel very welcome - the property is situated in a great location. The property was very clean - the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Just note that Private bathroom is not en-suite. Not a big problem but it was down a short passage. TV package limited.

It was a bit disappointing that the tea making facilities weren’t washed or replenished for the 3 nights we were there.

Great locality in a fascinating village. Great hosts who even did washing for us.

A small attic room, so fine for a night, but for any longer stay would have been nice to have some access to the back garden to be able to spread out a little in nice weather.

Lovely little room with twin beds, very comfy + cosy, nicely appointed, great view from the window, super location a short walk from everything in the village. Very nice helpful hosts and a lovely breakfast.

Nothing was disappointing including the weather!!!

Great location to visit the Peak District. Everything about our stay was enjoyable. Superb breakfasts and we took advantage of the fit-for-purpose picnic offering. Our hosts were fabulous - attentive, helpful, informative, courteous but most of all we loved their attention to detail in how the room and bathroom was setup, and all the other details they have got covered. Perfect for what we needed and would highly recommend for anyone to stay with these lovely people.
