Maybe a bit aged, room needed aired before arrival but that may have been due to the unseasonably hot weather in Aberdeen.

Noise from seagulls every night and noise from a party in the bar directly below the room one night. Very dated but in process of being done up. Bed and pillows not very comfy.

The noise, there was a party on, which was noisy until well after midnight on the Saturday night. The seagulls were so noisy from crack of dawn. Out dated (but being done out). Bed and pillows not comfy.

There was animal fur on the chair, and the chair itself was falling apart. No shower mat was provided.

The only drawback was the humidity in our room, of course this can’t be helped as it is summer, but the staff were very friendly and nice enough to give us a fan to keep us cool.

It’s perfectly between the local park and is easy walking distance to the city centre. The building itself is very clear and welcoming to anyone.

Location was not the most central, but convenient to reach by bus

Loved the room itself - enough space for two and comfortable bed. Staff is also responsive. There is a pub on the ground floor which is great.

Unmanned most of the day. Although it seemed breakfast was an additional option, when I went down in the morning no staff were there! So I had to google somewhere to eat! The communal areas need a little updating in general

Bed position ie head right nxt to bathroom door. Layout of bathroom. Toilet should be where sink is. Windows didn't open, curtains off rail so couldbmnt close

Room was a wee bit cramped and no anti-slip mat for the shower.

stayed there before and it is in a great location with free parking. it is extremely good value for money but rooms are a bit tired and hot water not great and our bathroom was very drafty mainly due to the windows (latch hanging off)

My room (102) was really big, clean and tidy. Pillows were both medium and hard, which I like. The mattress was quite firm, which was ok. The bathroom was a bit dated, but again clean and tidy which is what you want in a hotel room and ensuite. Would recommend they maybe put some hooks on the back of the bathroom door as there was no where to hang your clothes. I didn't have food at the hotel so can't rate that. Staff were friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and there was plenty parking outside. It's walkable from city centre and only approx 5mins in a taxi. When I returned at approx 10.45pm the bar was really busy and my room was right above it. But I put my earplugs in (always have them with me) and didn't hear a thing. No real reception area so in the morning when checking out was a bit unsure how to do this, did see other keys lying on a table so thought you had to leave them there, but I found a member of staff at the dining room and gave them to her. All in all a pleasant stay.

Bathroom needs some TLC. Very dated and a fair bit of mould.
