The sink in the bathroom could do with being a little bigger but I understand it’s a small space so may take up too much room

A stunning room in a great location. There’s free street parking outside and a paid car park about 50 meters away. Great facilities and amenities. Large smart TV, nice tea tray included with locally produced products. Didn’t hear any noise despite it being on the ground floor near the door

There's a fan in the room that makes a constant hum. It isn't loud, but I'm very noise sensitive so I don't think it would bother most people. Better to have a fan than humidity if people use the bathtub

The room has recently been refurbished, looks chic and the bed is very comfortable. It was very clean and the owner was speedy to respond and helpful. The shower and WiFi were also good and it's an easy walk to the train station. The TV has to be the biggest screen I've ever seen in a guest house!

Only thing I will say is the showered base didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly - see pictures The bed could be a little comfier the mattress is quite hard but for one night it was okay for us. And behind the door wasn’t swept up properly looked to be wax on the floor.

We stayed in the langdale room when we stayed at Glen wynne for valentines night so the price of approx £200 a night was brill for the occasion. We had a fantastic time. Beautiful modern stylish room. We enjoyed the facilities in the room- rose tin free standing bath. En-suite very modern. Really easy to access to the town and accommodation itself. We didn’t use the health club facilities as we just went into Windermere where we did some pottery painting and enjoyed the local shops, bars and restaurants. The room also had everything we needed. Glasses, coffee and tea replenishments. Iron and hair dryer in the draw along with sliders as the floor does get slippy - this is sign posted by the guest house so no issue with this.

Wouldn’t recommend staying with a friend as the sliding bathroom door is a bit too narrow so there are gaps and you can see in from the room! There is no lock on the inside of the room which always makes me uncomfortable, especially as the room is ground floor and right next to the front door, this should be a basic addition to any guest room!

Perfect location in the centre of Windermere. Check in was easy and good communication from staff. Bath was a nice addition and the room is very cosy and well equipped.

The doors didn’t shut fully so you had to close it by slamming them, people couldn’t just walk straight into your room.

Very clean and cosy, more of a couples room but we had a lovely relaxing time there especially with the bath in the room. Didn’t bother going to the spa as the bath was relaxing enough. It’s 1 minute walk to the centre of Windermere and 20 to bowhead. Massive tv haha

One small thing, the bathroom door was barn style and there were fairly big gaps either side, not a big deal.

Really great value for money, good updates and clear check-in instructions. Great location and some on-street parking and car park really close. Pristine and huge smart TV was a bonus!

Bathroom door felt like it was going to come off rails slightly so just had to be careful! I’d seen loads of people were getting bottles of complimentary Prosecco so was kind of hoping we would but we didn’t, but no biggy!

Room was exactly as images! Bath was unreal after hike and bed was so comfy! Location was also Perfect as it was a 5 minute walk to all the main shops and bars in Windermere town. Parking was also free and right infront of property

A beautiful and stylish room, which was in the perfect location. So close to the town centre of Windermere, and parking was so easy to find. The room was exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tidy and the bath was absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend.

The room could do with a little re-vamp. Paint missing from the walls, chipped skirting boards, swollen window sill (from bath). Being the first room in the house, it was very noisy of guests leaving/ entering, waking us up in the morning. The bathroom was very small and the sink wasn’t easy to wash hands in without getting water all over the floor. Check out is a little too early, we didn’t realise check out was 10am until other guests woke us up leaving the property.

Location was great, the room was beautifully decorated and the bath was a huge selling point! The bed was comfy and the TV was absolutely huge! Good communication from the property via text message before arriving.

That I might not get that deal again, because of its popularity

It was literally a 20 minute walk from Bowness tops but even if he chose not to go in your stay, Windham is got plenty of cafés and walks and things to keep yourself busy with, and you never feel too far away from your stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They were attentive and answered the phone straight away if there were any issues (e.g. we ran out of towels and they were stocked up within half an hour). The price was really really good considering the facilities (THE COPPER BATH!!) however, we did get the room mid week so it definitely felt like more of a steal.

The room is stunning, perfect location and the room is not only beautiful but is pristine. In a perfect location and the use of the health club is a bonus as the spa is lovely. Will definitely stay here again, the cosiest room!
