United KingdomParking was in a Public Car Park, but free. We had a room at the front on the main road. It was very noisy late at night, as they close the road off to vehicle access, so all the pubs and clubs chuck everyone out on the streets and keep drinking and shouting. The toilet seat was loose, and a bedside wall light was loose fitting. Only used the room to get ready and back to sleep in after our party. However, I don't think it represents good value for money..

United KingdomIt's very dated and in places not very clean (corridors particularly). Very basic and not as good value as it used to be. Why do cleaning staff have to knock on your door hours before you need to check out and there is a sign in your door. Quite noisy as well.
Hotel is very handy for the station and the centre of Carlisle and its facilities.
