Although the meal we had on the first evening was excellent, the price was a bit high for the quantity. The jacuzzi which was apparently on a timer, didn't function at regular intervals. At one stage, nothing happened for half hour.

The room we had was very good. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel. The swimming pool, steam room and sauna was lovely. The location is wonderfully situated between Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cirencester with buses running frequently and cheaply.

Unfortunately for us the beds weren't the best 😔, one side of the bed was lumpy and lower down than the other side and you could feel the gap in the middle. Pillows were too soft for me (but that's just a personal preference) Duvet was cosy. Aircon was a bit hit and miss, it was either too warm 🥵 or too cold 🥶, we just couldn't get it right and for some reason, the temperature setting on it was either 23 or 24 degrees!!

Lovely hotel, we had a room on the ground floor. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, nice bathroom. Hotel spa was lovely, however for the size of the hotel, it was a little small and very cramped in there. There's not enough seating area around the pool, if you just want to sit and relax after using the facilities. There was a wedding party booked in when we stayed, so everyone made use of the spa, making it feel claustrophobic in there.

The room we were allocated was clearly designed for someone with a disability, and we didn't really need those facilities. We would have preferred to be on the upper levels. The breakfast room was very busy, and although the staff were managing the volume of customers, we struggled to find a clean table as well as cups, knives, and forks to use. At one point, only one coffee machine was functioning correctly, which led to long queues.

The hotel was clean and modern, and the reception staff were charming and professional.

Evening meal was expensive and portions small, especially the veg & mash which are relatively cheap. Air con in room was difficult to use and not work as expected. Steam room was small and too hot.

Breakfast was good. The room was lovely and the dining room had a nice restaurant vibe. The staff were exceptional from the helpful cleaners to reception and waiting staff. We used the Spa and had some lovely treatments there. I would recommend this stay.

The receptionist forgot we were due a discount on the 2nd nights food. The lift was not thr nicest experience due to it feeling not very stable. We felt for the money the room could have been bigger with 2 chairs.

A long wait at Reception to check-in on Monday evening. There were 2 staff but only 1 could use room cards so 3 of us were waiting whilst he dealt with a client who had multiple enquiries.

Clean hotel, well located for business travel. Nice to use the leisure facilities and great service in the bar. Would return.

Dinner- Food was great but service needs to be improved. However, that said the restaurant manager was helpful and friendly and resolved the issue quickly. So overall a great evening.

Difficult to find fault, pillow maybe, both were quite big and I prefer a thin pillow but I think I’m in the minority.

Comfy bed, big room, clean bathroom, good shower. Lovely breakfast (proper mushrooms and tomatoes, my benchmark!) Friendly staff, easy parking, would definitely stay again as we didn’t have time to use the leisure facilities.

Check-in was slow, but the staff very nice. the pillows were too soft, and they had no support. Both coffee machines were broken in the morning at breakfast they got sorted, but it affected my experience initially, breakfast quality good. Overall great facilities, well maintained and at great price with a really good team running the place.

The lighting in the room was very poor. I was not impressed to be asked for a deposit and then have the full amount, including deposit, charged to my card as a Pending transaction. I also had to challenge the dinner charge - the £27 offer was not applied and £49.40 was put on my bill - until I queried it.

On arrival the receptionist was quite welcoming but little or no information was imparted. At breakfast the staff member checking in didn’t engage or impart any information only ‘sit where you like which was a challenge given the lack of available tables due to the number of uncleared tables. There was little or no choice of fresh fruit and the like resulting in reliance on a cooked breakfast which was also disappointing particularly the bacon which couldn’t be separated and looked under cooked. Our room was described a a superior double however the bathroom was far from superior. The floor was stained and had a broken floor tile didn’t help matters. The drain in the shower emitted a very unpleasant smell .
