Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Convenient location, right on the seafront. Staff let us bring takeaway to our rooms after the restaurant stopped serving food at 7:30pm.

United KingdomThe decor in the corridors leading to the bedrooms looked a bit tired and in need of redecorating.
The location of the property is right on the sea front which is lovely. When we checked it we found we had been given the honeymoon suite which was even nicer. The room was huge. The bed was so comfortable and the black out thickly lined curtains added to the delight of being upgraded. The bathroom was nicely decorated and the showerhead was huge.

United KingdomThe room we were allocated was supposed to be a twin room for 2 people but it was so small it should have been classed as a single, the width was 2 twin beds with a small bedside cabinet between the beds, there was hardly any room to move between the beds and on the table was a lamp and telephone so not much surface to use and on the other piece of furniture was the tea tray with the TV above, but no mirror, then discovered if you lifted part of the surface there was a hidden mirror, and that yook away the little surface you had. I asked if we could change our room but was told it was too difficult and that they were full some nights, this hotel had a lot of people just staying for one night we were the only ones staying for 6 nights. I really wish I had taken photos as you had to see this to believe it.
Food was excellent, also had cooked breakfast each morning even though when the room I booked said continental breakfast. Staff were fantastic so friendly and efficient

The excellent location near beach and central to town centre. The bar area was nice and service was swift.

United KingdomOur room was very tired. The door to the bathroom was in a poor state of repair. The shower head was the wrong size for the holder so it couldn't be positioned firmly The shampoo/shower gel holder was empty. Housekeeping staff were non responsive to a good morning greeting.
Location good Seafront position. Free parking in the adjacent car park. The reception lady and breakfast team were nice and friendly.

United KingdomVery strict 3pm check in, and we were told to change in the toilets on arrival when we arrived at 1pm, thought at least they could of offered us 1 room between 6 of us and we were going to a reunion and had been travelling for 4 hours , also when we rang up about it prior to getting to the hotel the lady was quite rude on the phone !!
Clean and comfortable, also the staff were excellent especially the Guy in the restaurant at breakfast, so accommodating, please tell him there was 6 of us in the restaurant on Monday morning and he served us, he was BRILLIANT.

United KingdomUnfortunately all rooms have electric showers which is what they are.I.prefer a shower with more water output.No soc ket near the bed had to run cables across the floor not very safe in the dark. But still.a lovely hotel.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was excellent, bar staff friendly. Room was spotless.

United KingdomAwkward turn in the staircase to access the first floor rooms with luggage.
The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Waverley paddle steamer embarkation port. Also a 10 minute walk to the shops. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. The meals were superb. No faded tartan carpets in this hotel !
