The house in itself was apparently used by persons renting rooms for the long term. The common places, bathroom and kitchen and living room, were messy, with a lot of personal stuff belonging either to the owner, either to the renters, like a bike in dront of a disconnected TV screen. It was not particularly clean, and sometimes even really dirty, like in the kitchen. The pictures on the websites show the state of the kitchen, before months or years of chaos and lack of cleaning took over, so they are not representative at all of what you get. I guess that the owner was relying on the long term residents to do it, and it was not the case. There was no toilet paper in the whole house, no shampoo or soap provided, as indicated in the description, I had to go to the supermarket to buy some, so that could be as well a point to improve.

The room in itself was okay and clean. Small but as described. There was a towel provided. There was some privacy, so I had a key for the front door and the room. There has been some stress with the check-in, because the owner provided a wrong code, but it got solved. The internet was working very well.

Couldn't get in when we arrived, had to rely on 2 other guests. Owner wouldn't answer my phone calls and he wasn't around to help us, the house was filthy and our was was filthy cobwebs etc everywhere.

There was no clear communication as to how to contact the helpdesk,and the deposit process was very poor. I had to book another accommondation with Travel lodge, after the bank transfer failed.

DO NOT BOOK this house is not up to the standard described in the advert. Parking outside on a very steep hill. The room was dingy not clean, it smelt of smoke and outside was a non stop dripping gutter. The bed had no mattress cover and no fitted base sheets, the pillows were terrible and two had been stuffed into one pillow case! The shared kitchen was dirty, had a bike in it and lots of other peoples stuff, it looked like a House of Multiple Occupancy(HMO) and we could not stay. We told the company that evening that we could not stay and had to leave! We asked for a refund but they refused!

The neighbours! Constantly up and down the creaky stairs then woken by them being intimate, by 3am my husband had had enough, got a shower and left. I had a test that day so tried to get more sleep, bed was lovely but way too soft a mattress for us.

Needed a place to stay for the night, nice clean room, couldn’t get the tv or WiFi to work so just tethered off my phone but otherwise was what it was, good communication from the owners, good sized room, shared bathroom. All in all was a nice place to stay

I’ve stayed in a good few of these kinds of places for work and I have to say this one really was a pleasure. Nice large rooms. Near to shops and everything else I need. Beautiful scenery and really good value for money! Next time I’m in the area I will be staying here again for sure.

I arrived, saw the place, and left immediately. It was awful - smelled of damp, rubbish furniture, dangerous staircase, untidy shared kitchen with no space, grubby, shared bathroom. Booking.com should not advertise such a place. I left, and lost all the money, as I had prepaid. Avoid this terrible place.
