We found the room very airless. Ie. hung some clothes up to dry and they were unchanged 10 hours later, even with the towel rail on! However this didn’t interfere with sleeping.

There was nothing that could improve the facility.

The property was perfect and exactly as presented on the photographs. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and tea, coffee, sugar and milk were also provided along with a lovely gift of a bar of local chocolate. The apartment is immaculate and bright and airy and only a 5 minutes walk into the centre of Wooler.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all essentials needed (with a good biscuit selection). The property owners were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for us both and our German Shep- she thoroughly enjoyed her stay too.

The room is on the side of a hill. The steep path to the room might not be suitable for persons with mobility constraints.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in "Highridge apartment". We liked the combination of beautiful surroundings and "city comforts". In the first place the room/studio apartment is attractive, in perfect condition and well-equipped, and the limited kitchen equipment was just what we needed for breakfast and snacks. Moreover, the room feels very private, almost secluded, and it is very peaceful. Nevertheless, it provides all the modern comforts including Wi-Fi. In the second place we found the location of the room to be ideal: not only does the room look out on an attractive garden, trees and distant fields, but it is also just a short walk away from the restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarket of Wooler.

The location was fabulous, looking out towards the Cheviot Hills. Wooler is a lovely village with good access to other areas in Northumberland, so a great base. The accommodation was superb as it was spacious, very clean and well equipped. It was lovely to find tea, instant coffee, sugar biscuits, bottled water and a coffee machine and pods plus milk was also offered. There was also washing up liquid and cloths. It was also very well designed, stylish and had onsite parking. There was also a small table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. The host was really lovely too and and you could tell a lot of care had gone into the accommodation and ensuring that you had the best stay.

The hosts were very nice and helpful, explained all to me upon my arrival. Throughout my stay they were available in case of questions. The room is very spacious with a superb bed and all the furniture one or two guests might need. The small kitchen area was found well equipped with coffee making facilities, a microwave, a properly sized refrigerator and a sink (and of course all the crockery and cutlery required). Toilet and shower are in separate small rooms off the main area. The whole room was spotless and thanks to a non-smoking policy smelling fresh and clean. A small table and two chairs outside offered a chance to have breakfast outside in the morning sun. The town center is maybe 400 yards away so easy walking distance.

Location was excellent 2 minutes walk into the town. Stayed her on 2nd June 2025 for a couple of nights away. Apartment was clean, comfortable and to a high standard. We were met by Caroline on arrival, very welcoming and helpful. Tea, coffee, milk all available in the apartment Would definitely stay here again.

Would have found more of an induction into the features of the apartment helpful. As an older person I found the external steps to the path down to the apartment a little challenging.

The apartment was well equipped with thoughtful touches. It was located up a steep hill but within easy reach of the town with food shops , an interesting distillery and a good Italian restaurant.

Only a minor thing - scented candles (it's a bloke thing), they weren't an issue.

Location of apartment related to local amenities, and good distance to reach other towns and attractions. A really comfortable bed. Cosy and warm. Space to dry wet coats efficiently. Caroline was just attentive enough, a good balance, and made us feel very welcome, especially the little extra something she left for us on arrival - such a nice gesture.

We were greeted by our wonderful host Caroline and shown to our accommodation which had everything we needed and special touches as it was my husbands birthday. There was tea, coffee, sugar, milk & bottled water. Nothing was too much trouble. The location had a beautiful view with an easy walk straight into Wooler high street. We had our own garden for our two dogs and private gate to come and go as we pleased. Would highly recommend.
