Spiral staircase was difficult to navigate with a small suitcase and backpack ( going up). Both of us are physically fit.

Great location, room with beautiful views, spacious. We didn’t use the kitchen ( out sightseeing hours on end) but it was stocked with essential materials to cook with. Quiet floor neighbor. Very inviting.

No wardrobe or anywhere to unpack. Also no PowerPoints in the bathroom. I think I counted 8 power points in the kitchen but as it has no mirror not munch good for shaving or hair styling.

Anyone with mobility issues will struggle staying here with the four flights of tight winding stairs! Especially with heavy luggage, these were quite a struggle. Every time we went up the stairs, we had to remind ourselves of the incredible view and rich history of the apartment. Even after a day of exploring Edinburgh- much of which included going up stairs and hills, the stairs to the apartment really got the legs burning. Definitely get like we earned our food and drink. The apartment was quite noisy at night too so any light sleepers will find it hard to rest. We also arrived (ahead of check-in to drop our luggage). The apartment had not yet been cleaned - which we expected- however we noticed a swarm of flies inside. We messaged the host who said it was not normal but by the time we checked in - the apartment was clean and there were no flies.

The location is AMAZING! The apartment is GORGEOUS. The view is SPECTACULAR! Great water pressure in the bathroom and the photos are exactly as the apartment presents. Sparkling clean.

Just one Inconvenient, be aware that you will have a lot of spiral staircases in the building until you reach the flat, so if you have big and heavy suitcases, as we did, a lot of effort was required at the time of reaching and leaving the flat (first day and last day).

Everything was incredible! This property was truly a win! The light that comes in from the windows fills you with warmth, even on a grey day. The places feels like home. An incredible view from the main window too. Perfectly decorated and comfortable, has everything you need - kitchen, bathroom and laundry for a great stay exploring Edinburgh. Shower is top notch 🙌🏻 This place is really a great find and I loved staying here. Made me enjoy Edinburgh more ❤️ Will definitely be back!

I think this property must be very popular as it is now a little care worn. The fire places were very dusty, the blinds were cheap looking and stiff to operate. The TV is old, quite small and slow to respond. The sink in the bath room leaks and although advertiser there was no coffee machine. There was also no tea towel or oven gloves. The bed is a double which nowadays is too small for two people. A good clean and a little maintenance would do wonders.

The property was located right in the heart of Edinburgh. It is beautifully furnished and had a fantastic view. It was also surprising quiet given its location. We had a lovely stay.

The Duvet cover for the bed was a bit on the small side for the size of bed, and the bed itself was only a double and would be great if it were larger for a couple. Given the size of the apartment it could do with a larger bed.

The location was excellent and the ease of access via the door code was great. The information provided by the host was also very thorough. Overall the apartment was spacious, with good facilities, and views that were brilliant!

There wasn't anywhere proper to unpack and put clothes away. also there was so much space in the large room it would have been nice to have a proper dining table.

Loved the room - it was exceptional. The host was also excellent with helping us with some extra bedding. The flat was beautifully clean and elegantly furnished.

The access to the flat made it very difficult to go in and out during the day. The stairs were steep and irregular and difficult to navigate. My husband is 81 years old and I have a minor knee issue. We were able to do it without any injuries, but it certainly modified our activities during the day. Also, she had promised coffee which was not available. In addition, some of the lights didn’t work.

The flat was lovely and the location perfect. Unfortunately, the misinformation about the 76 steep stone steps required to climb up in the dark to get to the flat was not shared in advance. Thankfully, we were able to tackle it, but that is malpractice not to share that information

I would mention that the stone spiral staircase (so cool) up to the unit was a little narrow and could be difficult for those who struggle with stairs or tight spaces. Though, we loved it.

Everything! This location was a dream! If I had it my way I would have never left. The apartment was beautiful and well kept-- preserving original details, but upgrading necessary utilities. The location was about as centrally located as you can get, but we were unbothered by any noise. We could just barely hear the bagpipes on High street through the bathroom window, but it was very distant and quite nice. Very pleased to report that I have nothing to complain about :)

I knew I had booked an apartment in the city centre but had underestimated the noise from outside. Especially during the hours 2300-0200. For the price of the stay, I was expecting at least complimentary tea and coffee, shampoo, and shower gel.
