Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The location was great for Earls court tube station. It was very good to get to the science museum. The hotel was near shops and cafes. The breakfast was a continental and ample of food and choice.

United KingdomI was in a single room, they were compact which was fine but there was no socket beside a mirror, a slight inconvenience at most.
A great area, 5 minutes walk from Earls Court Tube Station. Rooms were pleasant and spotless with a continental breakfast included in the price.

United KingdomSize of room. Breakfast
Room (single) was very small, comfy bed and clean bathroom though which was good. Breakfast wasn’t great - I think it all came from budget supermarkets and didn’t taste very good!! I look forward to hotel breakfasts and this was a disappointment.

United KingdomHad difficulty getting hot water from the shower. As only one night, I managed with a cool shower. Am sure staff would have helped if asked.
This little hotel was perfectly located for a visit to the Albert Hall. I booked a single room, which was small but big enough. A super clean room and bathroom, and comfortable bed. Easy check in and staff happy to keep bags outside of my booking times, freeing me up for sightseeing. Breakfast is continental style, not traditional cooked fayre, but all very good quality.

United KingdomIf you can ,don't get the room downstairs. Its super noisy and you will have no sleep all night and there is some electric noise from the air-conditioning that is giving very loud and strange noises at night..The "garden view" is not exactly what it seems ( window into a stairs wirh a fake grass wall) We luckily got exchanged for our second night into another room (upstairs) and finaly i could have some sleep. Breakfast is lovely, however, it is not clearly stated that it is not a hot breakfast-only cold continental, which was a little disappointing.
The hotel has a great location and is also on the quiet side of the road, which was perfect for us. The room is beautiful and really nice, modern decor clean and spacious. The breakfast/ garden room is lovely.Perfect for a night or two getaway on the better side of London.Staff was also very lovely and helpful and had no issue changing our room. I would stay again 😊

AustriaI have never seen such unfriendly and bored reception.
This tiny Hotel is located in a silent area and it was a good starting point (Tube). The women who were responsible for the breakfast are very helpful and friendly.

ArgentinaNot the hotel's fault, but guests in the next rooms would slam their doors at 6am, 8am, etc and would scare me and wake me up. The staff acted immediatelly and showed concern about my well staying, but I strongly recomment a fixed sign and a comment about it when they give them the keys at their arrival, since guests would continue doing it nontheless. Other than that, perfection.
I always go to Henley House Hotel. I love the location and everything. Excellent service, breakfast, etc.

New ZealandIt a pity about the stairs to the one bed rooms.
The staff and breakfast were excellent. The one bedroom was small particularly the bathroom But had every amenity needed. Getting my heavy suitcase up the stairs was an effort. I needed to stay an extra 2 days so moved to a double on a lower floor with direct lift access. I recommend, if you can afford the double room go for it. Its worth the extra space and location. I would commend receptionist Amie for her outgoing customer service and attention to guests. Previousy i have owned serviced office and restaurant businesses so i know the type of staff i am always looking for.

SpainA well-located hotel opposite a park and near another, with excellent staff. We arrived early; they stored our luggage, and we explored the neighborhood before checking in. The small but comfortable room had great beds, linens, and a clean bathroom stocked with essentials. Breakfast was continental—cheese, fruit, coffee, juice, bread, and boiled eggs. The dining area was pleasant and inviting. Thank you for a lovely evening.

United KingdomThe bathroom is weird - a glass wall separates it from the room with Venetian blinds encased in the window - with the control strings on the outside?! Also they are not completely blocking so there with my son was not great. Shower is slow - not powerful. For a hotel at this price, I’d expect better from them in tea and coffee facilities. It’s important to me - maybe not to others. But very basic - tiny cups, basic tea and coffee and one teaspoon. The (smart) TV is not connected to the internet so couldn’t watch even free catch-up channels. I don’t think this would be hard but necessary for Wimbledon weekend!!
The location is perfect! Right in Earls Court, two minutes from the tube. The room was a good size (some reviews said they were small but ours was good). A fridge in the room which I love - all hotels should do that! Air con which was vital!! Good communications - I’d read about air con not working so emailed to ask. Really quick response and it worked! Nice breakfast buffet. Comfy and clean
