Lodge 4 was just lovely, homely and extremely spacious, we were 6 adults and a baby and weren’t cramped at all! The surroundings are so peaceful being surrounded by trees, lovely gardens and a babbling brook. Lydia was so friendly and went out of her way to help us.

The only thing for me being disabled were the stones in the driveway. I couldn't get to the road on my scooter. But that is not an issue with the property, and did not affect our wonderful holiday.

The lodge was in a gorgeous location, secluded from the other lodges, and set in a lovely wooded area with a river at the bottom of the garden. Bird feeder provided us with hours of entertainment watching all the different birds coming and going. Inside provided all the facilities you needed, though seating was a bit restrictive and would have been better with a large corner sofa. Beds were lovely and comfortable and shower facilities good. With regards to location, it was quite near to town and walkable if you're fit and able but not near enough for me, unfortunately, so had to take the car into town, which wasn't a deal breaker as the parking was free and lots of it. Plenty to see and do with parks, walks and shops. Brilliant place, would come again, hosts were wonderful and available if you needed anything.

There wasn't anything I would complain about.

Location was excellent, in a very quiet very dark, ..bring Torches there is no street lighting here so it's extremely dark at night, private area on edge of Moffat but a very easy 10 minute walk right into centre of town. The lodge itself was spacious, clean very well provided with everything you could need in the kitchen bar a dishwasher. Bed linen, towels, toilet rolls were provided. Lots of jigsaws if you like them. Satellite TV, outdoor seating even bird seed to put in the bird feeder...which they soon discovered! It had two bathrooms, a double room and two twin rooms so plenty of space for families or up to six people...plus the dog can come too. An excellent base for exploring the area. We went over the Christmas period so the owners had decorated the lodge with a Christmas tree and a Christmas card from the owners welcoming us which was a nice touch.

The location is perfect the sound of birds and the water is so relaxing. The house is a great size and not far from the centre of moffat.

Wi-Fi was poor especially on Sunday.

Location was beautiful. Property was easy to find. Accommodation was well stocked and very comfortable.
