It's old, smells old, our room looked clean but had a couple of cobwebs in clear view (hanging from the bed wall light and the side of the tv). The cleaner needs one of those feather dusters but extendable. I don't want to put the place down because it had everything you need for a budget stay with extras like the biscuits and bottled water are a nice touch. Ps it looks like a small person decorated the room, look at my picture of the wall, that's not a shadow it's been half freshened up or as far as they could reach.

Location, looks nice on the outside. Tea & coffee with a biscuit, 2 bottles of water. Beds are comfortable for me not so for my partner. Everything you need is there for you.

It says it’s a bar and restaurant but the bar/restaurant was closed at 7pm on a Saturday! Also the shower was not up to scratch, it spurted out everywhere, apart from that it was ok

Window was broke, no one to tell, meant was noisy and smelt of smoke. No hot water. Tv very small in a big room.

Room decor tired and in need of a paint touch up; scuffs and small dent damages to walls, skirting board badly scuffed by hoover, also a lovely clean bathroom spoilt by an old peeling wooden bath panel and a faulty shower head

WIFI useless in room. Bathroom very small and hook on door broken so hard to dry towels. But the lady did give us more . No information re eating places. We were on public transport and struggled to find anything to eat.

Bed very comfortable. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Lady in bar very pleasant and accommodating,responded to our issues, though we only saw her once as bar usually shut and no staff on evidence.

We thought breakfast was included but found out a few days before that the restaurant was closed. We saw a notice by reception when we left the next day saying we could have purchased a breakfast 'to go', but this wasn't offered at check in. We arrived unexpectedly ahead of check in at 3pm, and it would have been nice to drop our bags off but there were no staff at the hotel.

Friendly welcome at check in. We stayed in room 3 which had a large comfy double bed and plenty of space for cases. Complimentary water & biscuits were nice. Plenty of parking available. Didn't get to see the whole place but it looks like a nice hotel. Perfect for a short stay.

Room was reasonable but not pristine clean or finished - paint missing on wall, light not working, bath surround. It was unclear if food or a bar was available but we only stayed one night, so not a big issue.

The rooms were too hot. There was no fan to keep cool or fridge to be able to keep drinks cool. On a night, there was a noise as though a motor was running, which was annoying at first but then got used to it by the 2nd night, couldn't get food as the chef was on holiday but other than them few hiccups would stay again if I that area

We were in the coach house block, and although it was an economy double room, it was not the cleanest of rooms, e.g. coffee cup stain on the table, some cobwebs, toilet seat loose, shower head was loose so had to hold it and no tea spoon to stir your cup of coffee with. Overall, the room was not worth £122 a night(£60 at best), it is in need of some real TLC. Sorry to say, but i would not recommend this hotel😟

Bar wasnt open u couldnt get any food!! No hot water for a shower was told to wait and try the water again later!! Theres wasnt any staff on site after 7pm
