The breakfast greeter was overly familiar, daughter's room had a bath that didn't drain - she told reception twice about it but nothing was done

The only let down with the hotel was the shower. It was not powerful at all, quite difficult to shower.

All staff were excellent, helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and therefore thank you to the cleaners. One of the cleanest large hotels I have stayed in recently.

Room 907 Noise of air conditioning fans outside very loud. Could not open window for fresh air. We were offered another room, but similar problem. Room size and facilities very good

The only thing that I would have a small moan about was the water pressure which, for a large hotel at this size, really needed to be better. Other than that, nothing.

The previous night we had stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Leeds. We had a very poor experience checking in where we were told our room was ready but because it was only 12 noon we would have to pay £10 per hour up to 3 pm which was the normal check-in time. We have course refused and simply went into town until the required time.When we arrived at this hotel in Harrogate we were there at approximately 10.45, told our room was ready and immediately given the keys without any additional cost. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly in the restaurant where the service was impeccable.

I asked to change rooms as I didn't realise we would be in the top floor, this was not possible which is a shame.

I love the venue, the location and the breakfast is lovely, although it's a shame the coffee machine does not have a decaffeinated option.

The only bit that was a bit strange is the glass door to the en suite, which lights up the room if someone uses it, which could disturb the other person in the room, a night light for that would be better. The fire door outside the room stuck a little bit and was noisy to open.

Location was good, check in quick and efficient, room clean and comfortable, car parking good with reasonable charge. Got later check out and as it was our 30th anniversary the reception staff gave us a voucher for a.free drink at the bar which was a nice touch. Good wi.fi also and amenities in the room.

Of the 3 lifts, 2 went down to the garage, we were on the third floor and it was a long wait to get a lift to or car. Also our showe leaked water on to the bathroom floor near the toilet. 2 very minor points from an excellant hotel.

Pillows very hard. There was a loud mechanical noise outside which continued until the early hours. It stopped but restarted at 4.30. This kept us awake. We swapped rooms for the second night onto the other side of the building and the problem was solved. The reception staff were very helpful in facilitating a move

No all was great

We stayed on level ten it was very quiet which is great because I am a light sleeper. The room was very clean and all you needed including information was available. Breakfast was very good and the staff made you feel welcome Helen was especially friendly and could not have been more helpful.

Toiletries for accessible shower had no place in the shower. They were on a shelf over the toilet. Should be attached to shower wall or in a shelf in the shower itself.
