Approach to the property via an outdoor staircase which was situated next to the community rubbish bins and not cleaned regularly which necessitated hand washing each time we used the stairs!

There was a bit of noise through the night and it seemed to come from an air conditioning unit at back of flat or nearby restaurant. The first night was a bit disturbed sleep (and we're quite good sleepers). However, the next 2 nights we switched off heating as didn't really need it in Summer and just kept windows closed and opened the front windows to keep cooler. That worked for us, but might not work if you were a light sleeper and it was cold in Winter! The restaurants next door were not noisy themselves.

The location was fantastic, right in centre of Tobermory, close to harbour for wildlife cruise, close to pubs and restaurants, and overlooking the harbour. The apartment was very clean, practical hard floors and the balcony was lovely for sitting out watching the bustle in the harbour, but also useful for drying wet gear and towels. The kitchen was well kitted out with lovely crockery and glassware. There were all the extra things you'd need like coffee machine, hairdryer, drying stand, a hoover. And the accomodation was dog friendly too, which was ideal for us.

* No furniture for balcony * Lots of cleaning rules (including bed stripping) for £300 per night. We’re frequent travellers and always leave places clean and tidy but stripping beds at that price is ridiculous - more hostel than luxury apartment * One key between two couples is a first too. Even if key box used, the door doesn’t lock without a key, so not ideal, if you don’t plan to live in each others pockets * Only toiletries in main bathroom. Again a bit stingy for cost per night.

Unsure what the recycling rules on the island are, but would have appreciated separate bins for recycling if this is applicable. A mattress topper on the bed would have been good, and perhaps a wee table and chairs on the balcony.

The location was superb overlooking the harbour. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped. It was also incredibly stylish, entrance was easy, and the apartment is very quiet despite its busy location. The balcony was wonderful. Highly recommend this apartment.

the apartment overlooks the harbour at Tobermory which is a stunning view if you don't mind seeing the car park too. The apartment itself was spotless and really well provided for in terms of fixtures and fittings. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were very well done. The furniture was modern and comfortable, as was the bed. 2 double rooms as well! This is clearly a relatively new build as it meets the current regulations which helps to provide that extra degree of comfort. Warm and cozy, I would happily live there! Local amenities are good considering the tourist element, local pubs and restaurants are very welcoming and were also dog friendly. The apartment is ideally located and has plenty of free parking outside. Stair access only though. I would happily book the apartment again.

The apartment has a balcony with views to the harbour and town. There was no seating on the balcony for having drinks,food enjoying the views. Having a table and chairs on the balcony would have been a useful addition as we had yo use the camping chairs we had with us. Although this did not distract from the stay, neither the apartment nor the balcony enjoyed the sun during the day or evening.

Easy to find, beautiful inside,with all mod cons. Would recommend to family and friends.

Just be very careful on the outside steps. Very slippy in the rain but there is a handrail. The big rug in the living room is a bit of a trip hazard but it might be that there was not enough time to unroll the rug. We had a problem with the tv but I think maybe it had not been set up but it didn’t really matter because why would you want to watch tv in such a fantastic location

This is just an absolutely fabulous apartment. Obviously very new as all dishes, pans everything untouched. It would be great if everyone looked after it. Maybe some drinks mats to save the lovely tables. The beds are Soooo comfy. Loads of plates and glasses. Fantastic view even in the scotch mist!

The apartment is located at the best possible location near the marina, really close to the centre, with shops and restaurants. The place exceeded our expectations, the double bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the lounge area gave you the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view.

No information regarding kitchen machines, heating controls. No teapot, only six of all basic crockery and cutlery. It should have at least 8 of these when 4 are accommodated to save endless washing up and making better use of dishwasher. Sofa seat depth far too large for most people and very hard.. Mat/carpet in living area has raised edges both sides and is a trip hazard. No hanging provision for wet coats, poor clothes storage ie no drawers-it needs at least a chest of drawers in each bedroom. Smaller bedroom wardrobe partly filled with vacuum cleaner and excess extras making the storage even worse. No warning that access is up a flight of 24 stairs. It's a pity because the apartment has plenty of potential to be really good.

Location was excellent. Beds comfortable, dining area and cooking facilities good. Clean when we arrived.
