Room should not be a twin. Too small. Blinds broken. Crack in wall by window you could see day light through it ! No TV remote and no manual option. Awful.

Location and staff

The room wouldn’t have seemed cramped if they hadn’t shoved two rooms worth of furniture into it. The bathroom looked very old. The mini-fridge made the things you put in it warmer.

Centrally located. A lot less expensive than Crail prices.

WiFi didn't work at all at any time. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Very small room (no table or chair). Shower didn't work at all (no water). Couldn't get a hold of management (didn't answer my phone call, mobile number mentioned on booking doesn't work, nobody around). Finally, after an hour or so we were given the keys to another room where the shower ... kind of worked. Warm water for 4 minutes and then it turned ice cold right when I was soaped in top to bottom. Considering all of this, the price is outrageous. The check-in staff was so-so friendly. The staff that finally arrived around 9 am in the morning was very friendly and apologetic, but couldn't really help. Management is at fault for this and I would expect money back. We will definitely not be back to this dump.

Noisy as it’s above the pub and windows are overlooking the skylight above the band area so very noisy at night , mostly over weekends though

A little close to the road, as it was warm with the window open was a bit noisy but this can’t be helped

The hotel was well located and there was a fridge in the room.

First impression of the room was ok. Further inspection showed the following issues: • There was a lock on the bathroom door but no mechanism in it so you couldn't lock it • The bathroom was so small you had to move sideways to pass the toilet and shower to get to the sink • While sitting in the bathroom, depending on the length of your legs, had to place them in the shower • Toilet seat was broken • Sink was so small you couldn't fit the kettle under the taps to fill it • The beds were uncomfortable and one of them had dark hairs on it • Only one available socket • There was no daily housekeeping, no wardrobe, no bathrobes and slippers as noted in the list of facilities • No aerial in the room so no terrestrial TV • Streaming services were available but only if you have your own subscription and the TV was not set up to the wifi • WiFi only worked one night of our stay • The room supposedly had a "view" which was the flat roof of the kitchen and a brick wall In addition to all of the above we were.kept awake both nights by the noise made by the staff and management. On our first night some of the staff were out in the beer garden loudly chatting until 1.30am On the 2nd night we were kept awake by an extremely loud phone conversation - so loud we could hear both sides of it. After about 20 mins my partner went downstairs to complain to be told it was the manager on a call elsewhere in the hotel We paid £144 per night. It genuinely wasn't worth more than £75 and we left very disappointed. Had we not had plans we would have left after the first night

It's easy to travel from here along the coast by bus.

It was very anonymous compared to other accommodations where the host would have a chat with me and give me some tipps.

Location and bed was really comfy

In a good location. Clean. Helpful staff . Value for money.

First night beds were really uncomfortable. Second night mattress toppers were supplied and solved the problem. No meals midweek, but other places nearby.
