Lovely bright room. Very tasty breakfast with a good choice that we could order in advance. The owner was helpful in giving us information re getting in and out of St. Ives. We had breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the garden.

A real home away from home. The location was ideal for our stay with easy access to Carbis Bay and St Ives. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast area and conservatory are beautifully furnished. Lovely garden outside with seating areas.

Halwell lodge is a gorgeous guest house about 12 minutes from St Ives. It was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. Our room slept 3 people and there was plenty of space with a comfortable sitting area. We loved the big copper bath in the bathroom. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented. There is a beautiful garden space as well. Plenty of parking. The owners were delightful. We can highly recommend as a place to stay when exploring St Ives and the surrounding area

Everything was great. Only slight negative was no shower head in the bathroom, as there was not enough hot water to fill the bath even half full for three people. It takes about half an hour to reheat, but as we were on holiday and not in a rush it did not cause us too much of an issue.

Very convenient location. Hosts gave us lots of tips about local beaches. We stayed in the triple bedroom which was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds, tv and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely copper bath, though may not be accessible for everyone due to high sides and low ceiling. Hosts are friendly and very accommodating, and the breakfasts are delicious. Would definitely stay again!

If we had to be really critical, the en-suite was a little on the small side…….but perfectly serviceable.

The hosts, Tressa & Steve were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. The house was wonderfully clean and comfy. Their breakfasts were exceptionally good.

Everything The location was outstanding. The hosts were amazing -friendly -informative-nothing was an issue fresh bed sheets regularly- tea coffee biscuits-breakfast was beautiful and the property was stunning lots of warmth and love in this place so peaceful and inviting - lots of character style and personal touches we won’t forget in a hurry We were celebrating our silver wedding Chocolate and a card in the room with sweet treats- divine. Can’t wait to return- didn’t want to leave.

We had a great 2-night stay at halwell lodge. It was easy to find and there was ample parking. There was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop with regular buses into St Ives centre/harbour (which took about 10 minutes) Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views and a big copper freestanding bath tub which felt really luxurious. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious, with a good range of options. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in St Ives
