The location was incredible, a little tucked away quiet haven, perfect for us after walking 15 miles! Lesley and her family were friendly and on hand when we needed them; but give us the space to enjoy the Barn and surrounding gardens. They were very accommodating when family came to visit. Everything was so easy and relaxed! The property was spotless! Food ready for us for breakfast was high quality produce and organised beautifully! There was a selection of games, books and little treats available for us too! We will absolutely be back!

Everything was great.

This place is beautiful and clean, the owner was present and very supportive. The barn was spacious, clean, the food and drink provided was excellent and the Wi-fi and television were provided. The kids enjoyed looking at the stars through the glass roof and it was in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside

Nothing we didn’t like

This property is exceptional, clean and tidy and tasteful furnished. In a lovely location and close to Hadrian’s wall walk. Fridge well stocked and Lesley provided tasty meals which we ordered in advance. Lesley was very friendly and welcoming.

There was no sign at the junction with the main road to indicate that this was the track to the barn. There really really should be some signage there.

We were walking Hadrian's Wall and it was quite dark when we arrived. They were wonderful and friendly, and dropped us off at the pub. The next day we unfortunately left something behind and our host drove and met us so we could be reunited with our lost belongings. The accommodation is lovely, nice setting, large and well equipped. Food is provided so you can prepare breakfast for yourself in the morning, which suited us. Overall very nice place which we hope to re-visit in the future.

Hadrian's Barn exceeded my expectations and more. Delightful setting. lovely facilities - loved the books and games. Superb and generous dinner and breakfast. So convenient for walking Hadrian's Wall. And Lesley was so welcoming.

Very comfortable accommodations about 10 minutes walking from Hadrian’s Wall path. The barns are well furnished. Plenty of food for breakfast and lunch the next day. The owners are extremely accommodating - after a particularly long and hot 17 mile day on the path, our group was too tired to travel into town for dinner. The owner was gracious enough to make us lasagne with sides; normally we would need to pre-arrange this. We were very thankful for this kindness!

Nothing could have been better.

A great location and stop on the Hadrian's Wall Path, excellent breakfast and optional dinner, I wish I had a reason to stay in the area for a few days to take advantage of the beautiful setting. I didn't expect a large sitting room with kitchen as well as a bedroom.
