The food was very average - especially breakfast. For 15 pounds per head I expected more. To be served a couple of hunks of bread with brown, unseasoned avocado and 3 cherry tomatoes was very disappointing. I’m not picky but it was inedible. We went elsewhere for breakfast on the second two morning - half the price and delicious!

Amazing location. Beautiful rooms and shared spaces. Friendly attentive staff.

Car parking is a challenge, we had to pay for nearby car parks then move the car when spaces became available on the street opposite.

Location and cost were great. Restaurant was really lovely and reasonably priced. Bedroom and facilities were good and despite being located on the main road we slept comfortably with window open and no traffic disturbance. There was a dog in the room adjacent to us that disturbed us occasionally.

Limited on site parking which cannot be helped, However, there is free parking available to the rear of the hotel. Everything else is perfect

All staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and well presented. The hotel itself is welcoming and perfectly situated in the heart of town. Highly recommend eating in at the restaurant or from the bar menu as the food is well priced and delicious.

A Welsh greeting when checking in would be nice. Couldn't turn radiator on to dry damp clothes. The Malaysian curry in the bar could be spicier!

Very good location for exploring. Relaxing bar area. Comfortable twin room. Small car park. Receptionist had good local knowledge and suggested lovely walks.

Only issue was the size of the single room. We had two. The double was quite spacious. The single was just a bit too small and there was no wardrobe space. That apart, it was comfortable and clean.

Great location. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The pillows! - A softer, feathery pillow or 2 for each of us would have been much appreciated!

The Hotel was in a great location for exploring Snowdonia. The food was good - we had breakfast at the Hotel one morning and a large group of us ate there 3 evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Evening meal was just okay, so this made it over priced for the quality. Would gladly pay the price but the quality needs to improve. More like home cook rather than good chef. However breakfast was good.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Great location. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Late Sunday lunch.. It wasn't the best and a tad rubbery. It was as if the meat had been sat for some time and was very thin. I think the lunch should have been stopped earlier as by 6pm it wasn't the best, I'm afraid. The vegetables were nice, but the chanteray carrots could have done with being cored. We only ate there the once as it put me off trying again.. Maybe I should have tried something else as I'm a bit of a stickler with a Sunday roast and very particular and shouldn't have risked it!

The reception area was clean and very welcoming. We booked a pet friendly room and it was really comfortable and clean. Usually pet friendly rooms aren't always the best rooms but this was perfect. Clean, comfortable and a huge bathroom! Rooms were modern and nicely decorated. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. The room was very warm but there was a fan in the room, which was very welcome. The bar area was very large, with comfy seating. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming.. Would definitely stay again.

The carpark is incredibly tight! But there are lots of public car parks and street areas you can park for free

Great location to have as a base for all North Wales adventures and Betws-y-coed has a range of excellent pubs and local spots as well. The Sherpa bus stop is one minute and gets you to Snowdon in 40 minutes. The bar and restaurant were great, and our room was clean and comfortable The best thing was the staff, they were all so helpful and friendly and really made our stay. Particularly (and apologies if I’ve got their names wrong) Cheryl, Charlie and Aled who gave us lots of tips and were generally fantastic.
