I have no complaints about our stay whatsoever. The hosts were excellent and catered to our every need.

Extremely comfortable and well decorated with a homely feel. A quiet and peaceful location. The courtyard was very pretty with its scented flowers made seating outside very enjoyable.

There was nothing not to like , my only suggestion would be to have more variety on the breakfast menu , we stayed 3 nights and I dont always want a full English every day . There was plenty to choose from but I was thinking smoked salmon and poached eggs ,or kedgeree, but I'm sure if I had asked steph would have come up with something .

The room was vast , it felt very fresh and clean , not cluttered in any way as lots of places have too many soft furnishings . Nothing was too much trouble . The bathroom was big and well designed as well .

Steph is very welcoming. The breakfast is delicious, with several options. Quiet location, but the A143 is not far away. Good room with big bathroom. Seating area outside.

The Grove Barn was excellent for my 95 year old mum.Apart from one step getting in the rest was on ground level,with easy access to the dining room for breakfast.We really enjoyed our stay.

We thought this property was excellent. The hosts had thought of everything - it was beautifully furnished, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, there was fresh milk available, the plugs were in the right place and a mirror to use a hairdryer, excellent breakfast, can’t really fault it to be honest

The room and facilities were excellent, very clean with everything you could need. The owners were so friendly and helpful - we were travelling to the area for the first time and they really helped in giving a good indication and advice about the area as a whole - The fleece Inn in Bungay served excellent meal!

We had a 60th birthday party to attend in a nearby village and chose the Grove Barn B and B for an overnight stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Steph who showed us to our room. We stayed in the Garden Room. The room was light and spacious and very clean. The hospitality tray was well stocked, and the availability of fresh milk was a nice touch. The bathroom was also very clean with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. Everything had a fresh feel to it. For breakfast there was a good choice of options, I opted for a full English which was very nice. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend and return if the need arose.

Room was massive, immaculately clean with everything you could need. Totally silent which aided a good nights sleep in a really comfy bed. A delicious cooked breakfast made to order as well as continental options was great to wake up to. Host was really welcoming.

The room was really nice just a little bit too small for us.

Breakfast was delicious. The milk in the fridge was really tasty. The area was lovely, quiet and very green and easy to find. Not a lot ot things around but the host will be able to give you all the information you need to make your stay lovely.

Everything, from the initial greeting by the owner to the final safe travel wishes as we left. Steph certainly puts her heart and soul into making you feel like you’re just visiting friends, the location is as it says , rural, so don’t expect facilities of any sort without some sort of travel. The accommodation provides everything you would require for what is being provided, bed and breakfast, speaking of which a full selection of breakfast foods is available on the request sheet left out each night, served at the time of your choosing in the peaceful dining area. The property is only a few miles from Harleston so if you’re looking for refreshment it’s not too far, however you are travelling on very narrow unlit country roads. If all the rooms (3) are of the same standard as ours then you will not be disappointed and the fact that fresh milk is available in a convenient fridge external to the rooms makes the fresh tea /coffee available so much better.

Cannot fault it!

You'd be crazy not to stay at the Grove Barn an absolute gem of a place. Nothing is too much trouble if you need anything and Steph was knowledgeable of the area for food etc very quiet with the exception of owls if you're lucky enough to hear one, very clean inside and a lovely well maintained garden outside.
