The toilet was octagonal. But you can't please everybody.

Ideal location for a wedding at Shustoke Barn. Recommended a taxi company who were punctual and reasonably priced. We arranged to collect the keys early on the day of the wedding, but the room was already available so they let us check in early. Ample parking. Very comfy beds, my friend and I slept like logs.

Bed was really comfortable with nice quality sheets, breakfast delicious and very good choice cooked to order, staff friendly and helpful, good shower in ensuite bathroom. Loved seeing the cats and Cupcake the dog. Lovely hotel would stay there again when visiting Brum

The water temperature in the shower fluctuates wildly between freezing cold and scalding hot!

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Good facilities and the breakfast is excellent. Very helpful staff and great location

I paid for bed and breakfast but I would prefer to have had a cheaper option excluding breakfast, as we had to depart at 5am before breakfast was open. In fairness, the staff did offer to make us sandwiches to collect from the reception area. We also had a whirring noise in the night that disrupted my sleep, not sure what it was. If I stayed again, I would ask for a quiet room or take some earplugs.

Location to the airport is great. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Check in staff are friendly.

Only thing we didn't like was having to ask for milk to make tea/coffee in our room rather than it just being left every day. This is a very minor thing, but as a short person I could have done with a small step/box to climb into the very high bed.

Staff were absolutely lovely, even started breakfast 30mins early for us on a Saturday so that we could have a proper breakfast before going to an early booking at NEC. Beautiful building, gorgeously furnished and decorated. Lovely grounds, excellent location specially for NEC so we'll be booking there again.

The only issues we had, were really minor. The TV in the room was not linked to the hotel WIFI so you could only watch Freeview. It had the capacity to be linked to the WIFI but that function was locked, this restricted your evening's viewing. Due to the excellent double glazing and insulation in the new part of the hotel, our room was warm. The sun had been shining in the room all afternoon and despite having all four windows open the room didn't cool down until much later in the night as the breeze was sadly not blowing in our direction. A fan that provided cool air to circulate in the room would have been welcome. There was a fan in the room but it was for heat only.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were welcoming and very friendly. Our room was around the back of the hotel and was very comfortable. The facilities in the room were really good and the bathroom was great, very spacious with a fabulous shower. The choice of food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent. Everything was cooked to order and very tasty. Our stay was very relaxed and pleasant, it was close to the NEC which is why we were visiting Coleshill.

Only thing that was a bit annoying was the dog that kept barking in the night!

The staff were really helpful and allowed us early check-in as we were going to a wedding nearby and wouldn’t be back till late. Lovely breakfast and lovely staff. Very clean.

Horrid flimsy plastic cup for drinking water in my room, electric shower (they are always rubbish) and mirror hung so high in the bathroom I could only see the top of my head!

Staff, polite and efficient. Dinner, home cooked varied menu, bed comfortable, breakfast nice menu, great quality, surprisingly quiet location and 10mins from NEC.

Because i had to rely on taxi to get to and from hotel, i found that vezoo taxi driver have some difficulty of locating the place. I recommend asking reception to organize your taxi. Their guys know area very well.

Its a small and wonderful place, excellent for big party or single retreat.

It was a hot day, the room was very hot. The hotel is next to a main busy road. I had to keep my window open all night so was difficult to sleep with the noise of traffic.

Nice cosy room and bathroom, very clean. Nice breakfast. Polite and kind staff.

I hadn’t realised my room wouldn’t have a skylight, when I looked again at the pictures of my type of room they were in fact a selection all the pictures except one showed a skylight.

The location was perfect for us near the NEC but not too near. The staff were absolutely lovely as was breakfast. Also fantastic not to have to pay for parking or look for a nearby car park.

A bit old fashioned, Stools in the bar were uncomfortable. A 6 ft man put the mirror up in the bathroom ! Food was good.

Nice old building relatively easy to find.
