There was nothing I didn’t like.

A little gem, had an excellent overnight stay. The hosts were really nice and friendly. The guesthouse was in a really good location, just a little walk into Whitby town. The guesthouse was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. All the little touches were nice and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Would highly recommend this little gem and we will be returning in the future. A lot of thought and love has gone into this place. Thankyou for making our stay so pleasant.

Everything. The hosts were lovely, the breakfast spread was great and the location was fairly good, just be prepared to walk up some steep hills from the centre. Clean and tidy.

A truly exceptional stay at Greystones Guesthouse in Whitby. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. We stayed in "the sheep room," which was not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully decorated, with a cozy, rustic feel. The views from our window were absolutely amazing, offering a tranquil sight of the surrounding fields with grazing sheep. Waking up to such a serene landscape was a real treat. And the breakfast—it was outstanding! A superb and plentiful spread that set us up perfectly for our days of exploring. We would highly recommend Greystones to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Whitby.

The owners were amazing and went above and beyond. The room was modern, nicely decorated and a good size. With nice extras toiletries, biscuits etc The breakfast was outstanding, so much variety and more than enough to eat. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to visitors.

We had a lovely weekend break. Breakfast was very nice, so must more choice than expected. I needed gluten and dairy free and it was all sorted even though I book on the day on arrival. Our room was on the front near a main road, I was a bit worried about the noise but it wasn't a problem at all. Nice big comfy bed. Spacious room, lovely and clean. We will come back.

Comfy bed, great shower, good mix of old and new furnishings, local art on the walls, bus stop outside the house, easy walk downhill into town, parking outside the house. Best breakfasts we have ever had in our room at a table e.g. yoghurt, different fresh fruit, egg butty, pancakes, proper veggie sausages, juice, breakfast bars.

Going home!!

On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Marty and shown to our upstairs rear facing room which was split into two halves comprising of an ensuite bedroom and a relaxing/breakfast area.. Both had tv"s and the views from both showed off Martys self built garden features including an extensive water cascade plus natural green fields with grazing sheep aplenty !Breakfast was delivered to our room on a fold up table at an agreed time consistng of a hot bacon bap on day 1 and a hot sausage bap on day 2 accompanied both times with yoghurts, croissants, fruit , orange juice,breakfast bars,tea and coffee which were available in the room with a jug of fresh milk from the fridge, a perfect unique start to the day!! The bed was comfy and the shower refreshing so in summing up Greystones was a perfect choice for us both! Many thanks Jo and Marty.

The property is lovely and clean. The room we stayed in was decorated to a very high standard and had a lovely modern en suite too. Also, it was only a 15 minute walk down into Whitby so great location. The owners are also lovely and friendly and the breakfast provided is outstanding!

There was nothing to not like!!

We stayed for two nights and our room was furnished beautifully and very clean. The continental breakfast delivered to the door to eat in your room was fresh and good quality food. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Outstanding.

Excellent place to stay when visiting North Yorkshire.We received an excellent welcome from our friendly hosts. Our room was clean and spacious and well presented. Breakfast was delivered to your door at your selected time slot the breakfast included fruit,juice,bacon or sausage sandwiches and cakes all served on a tea tray. Tea coffee milk and biscuits were available in the room. A added bonus to this property is its on a main bus route and the bus stop is just outside the entrance. Parking on site is available
