Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Really close to the centre, walkable to all the things we wanted to do. Car parking was a bonus, although a little expensive. Room was nicely decorated. Breakfast was really nice.

United KingdomI did not like the bed. The size was excellent, but matress and duvet were lumpy. Also, the air-conditioning was too cold despite turning up the temperature. It did not seem to make any difference. Set at 21 C, the room got too cold.

United KingdomBreakfast sitting, unfortunately was not as good as the rest of our stay. We were seated straight away , but then forgotten about for some time, until we eventaully called over a member of staff to take our order. The breakfast arrived , but my full English Breakfast was missing the Hash Browns, which eventually turned up towards the end of our sitting.
The hotel is beautiful and the in a great location. The front of house staff were excellent , friendly and helpful (Thank you particularly, Rubin!) We stayed there as an anniversary treat and as a result were upgraded to a superior room, where they had thoughtfully decorated the room with rose petals, towel origami and delicious macaroons

ItalyRoom was disappointing as it was dark; it only had a door looking onto a shabby fence. The bathroom door did not close well and no fan activated in the internal bathroom.
Staff were great. Overall the hotel looked good. The room was nicely presented.

United KingdomAs with other reviews the breakfast experience wasn't the best. There is possibly a shortage of staff and those who were present tried their best but couldn't meet the demands of feeding the guests. I think that I would definitely return to the hotel but would just book without breakfast.
This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location from which to explore the city. Our room was very comfortable and looked out over the green. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

AustraliaIt is a shame that you cannot be guaranteed a parking space, it works on a first in basis which is concerning if you arrive and there is no parking, although there is a public car park down the road, but I feel you should be able to book a space. There is an extra charge of £28 per day to park which should be included in your room rate, if you manage a park. Unfortunately the lift also was not working on the 3 days we were there.

On the first night, the air conditioner wouldn't adjust the temperature, the front desk staff adjusted the center control mode, then I can adjust the room temperature . On the second night, the room temperature couldn't be adjusted either. A common problem was the air conditioner making an unpleasant noise.
