We enjoyed the whole 2 days that we stayed. It's very close to the station. And breakfast is really good. We had a wonderful time with the choices health club.

Nothing - all was fine if I had to be extra picky I would say the pillows were too big for me but managed just fine.

Lovely hotel room was fabulous, lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee provided with extras available in the lobby area.

The bathroom was rather dark due to the choice of bulbs. I needed my iphone torch to see the shower controls! The TV / Freesat tuner installation all worked (if you knew how to use it!) but there was no quick guide on how to operate - so the less technically minded guest would not have been able to get it going.

The room itself was lovely. Lovely leafy view out of the window, and very homely. It was bright, clean and fairly large. And quiet too. The non-staffed arrangements with keycodes via SMS text was hassle-free and all worked very well. Good kettle, which is a big plus!! Fabulous shower with large modern tray.

We enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend. Everything as described. You can drive around but in a short walking distance many pubs, shops and beautiful places to see.

Windermere and Bowness were very busy making it difficult to park and get about. The fridge in the room didn't work, and a replacement wasn't available, which was inconvenient.

Self check in - no one to greet you and explain things regarding the property although an email is sent out. We ended up being the customer service when other guests arrived as they were as confused as we first were on arrival . And we called the accommodation manager when other guests had wrong key code or no keys at all. Not really our job but guests thought we worked there and asked for our help! The email system clearly does not work.

Fairly good location, rooms were nice and cleaning staff were friendly and very helpful.

Parking outside the hotel is limited, though apprently on road parking nearby isn't difficult.

Easy to find in Windermere itself. We didn't actually see anyone in the hotel. Arrangements were by phone. We chose a smaller room, but it was fine for our overnight stay, though up several flights of stairs. Comfortable and very clean. We appreciated the opportunity to use the local pool after a long drive. Breakfast was great, provided in a hotel 2 doors up the road. All in all great for our short stay.

Room was very well presented and clean, I loved the whole self check in process as it was simple and easy to follow also nice that if you needed anything someone was always just a phone call away. Parking on site was not an issue too. I did not have time to use the heath club as I chose to wonder near the lake most of the time so can’t say anything about that! Just wish I went ahaha

There was no one to greet us or help us when we checked out. I missed the human touch. The bed wasn't that comfy . We came by train, so we didn't get to the gym nor did we have a car to store our luggage on the last day. The info about storage came too late. It's a great place if you have a secret "rende vous" and you want to slip in and out unnoticed. Maybe this is what it meant by adults only.

The British country style charm. The room decor and bathroom. The sound of the river and nature. The self check in was OK.

We were in room 7 at the top of the building. Guest house is in a great location with parking. The room was dated but value for money. The bed was low so if you have mobility problems you may need to request another room. Although we didn't get around to using the access to the health spa/club it makes the cost value for money. Breakfast wasn't on site, but only a couple of doors away at a sister guest house. The breakfast was very good. Communications from Ian were great and he was really helpful. We would definitely recommend this guest house and will stay again.

Mini fridge isn’t working. Mattress has very obvious ‘fells’ either side, so woke up with a sore back each morning.

Very clean and prepared to a high standard. Bathroom facilities are very pleasant. Opportunities to park off-road. Nice view and sounds of the river from the top room. The breakfast room is very well fitted, comfortable, and bright.

I can't complain about anything during our stay. We loved every minute of it.

Our stay at Glenville House was excellent. It's a great spot in the Lakes and the bed was extremely comfy.

Breakfast was available at another guest house just up the road, not a big problem as it was very good.

Excellent location, clean and very comfortable room and well appointed bathroom. The owner was helpful and promptly resolved our issues with the remote check in and TV.

The house/ appartment is fully cleaned and lovely interior decoration with beautiful interior and outer part of property. really enjoy as family house with outside hot tub ready prior to arrival with beds made .Nice place in windermere area.self catering like private area .we family had a lovely time.owner of property are really helpful .always reply quickly.I definitely come again.plus other benefits gym and health club. I will give 5stars.10/10 but more than 12:59
