Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe single beds are uncomfortable. You can feel the wooden slats but would still come back it’s a minor dislike
Amazing location out in the countryside with nothing around just enjoying family time.

United KingdomVery warm welcome from Helena , the owner :) I received all the information I needed to enjoy my stay and about the site. Clean and well maintained facilities. Loved the little pod I was in, (Dunmore) which was also clean and comfortable. Beautiful scenery and location! I enjoyed walking around/exploring and seeing all the animals too. Very peaceful place. There are lots of places to go for ramblers and hikers. The perfect escape I was looking for. I will definitely go back to Glenshee glamping site and recommend it to anyone who enjoys the camping/glamping experience :)

United KingdomOverly eager cleaner was rude to my two sons on the morning of checking out, grilling them about check out times (even though we had emptied the accommodation and they were just waiting for me to bring the car up) Dropping and picking up luggage is done by driving your car from another location to the site but can only be done two cars at a time, you can appreciate with many other glampers, this could and does take a while to have your turn.(Hence the kids waiting for me ages 14 & 5)
Clean,plenty of amenities Nice location.

United KingdomJust back for a few days away, at glenshee glamping with the kids. The camp site is lovely and great for family. The kid loved that there were farm animals on site they could walk around and pet and a park for them to play in. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Shower blocks where very clean and warm We stayed in the bell tent that was very spacious and comfortable beds. The kids and I had a great few days away and definitely will be back

United KingdomI didn't have more time to stay...
What did we like? The short answer is: everything. It's a family run glamping site in the middle of nowhere. The family is very nice and friendly, the site is very well maintained, clean toilets and showers, very good kitchen. Beautiful location!

United KingdomSome of the rules/policies felt very out of date. For instance, we showed up only to be told that we must pay to rent bedding for our cabin. The owner said this was stated on the booking which I later found was added in parentheses so I will accept that I should have read that more in depth. However, the reasoning was COVID-19, which has stopped being a concern for a while. I felt that the amount we paid for the small cabin for four people for two nights warranted at least bedding be provided. And when asked for the prices the owner was unable to give us exact prices of the bedding which I felt like should have been an easy request. Regardless, we rented the bedding. Just something to take note of prior to the trip.
First, the location is beautiful. Stunning, even. It is in quite a secluded area but with a car that didn’t become much of a problem. It was worth the scenery! The cabin itself was small for the four of us - being four adults - but it was cozy so we can’t complain. There was a nice set up outside with benches and chairs as well. The kitchen was accessible and we felt comfortable cooking when we didn’t want to eat out. The toilet facilities were also of good standard.
