Really dated room. Furniture really worn and the bathroom absolutely needs updating. A travel kettle is not what I expect to find in a room at £350 a night (breakfast not included). Feel there was such a lot if potential not fulfilled. The bar should be a hub of the hotel but when you're chased out as the ladies wanting to finish, their shift was shoddy. Bar closes at 11, so don't expect to be sitting up chatting. Absolutely not worth the huge sum of money paid..

Excellent position for town and roads.. lots of other hotels in the same area. Good view of the Ness, also other hotels have a god view too

No lift and our room was in the loft, so a bit tight on the one side getting in and out of bed without hitting your head and no one to help with luggage (we’re not youngsters).

The location and the parking on site. It had a restaurant and a few tables to sit outside and have sundowners or early morning coffee.

We ask for a ground floor room. Not sure what other options were available but our room window was a couple of feet from the parking lot. So there was some noise from that.

Reasonably close to center of town for walking. Breakfast was very good. Desk clerk was very helpful and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable.

Room wasn’t great - no shower and bathroom meant you could not stand in the bath - but it was a last minute booking!

Last minute booking great location and easy parking in the centre. Good breakfast

It was a little expensive but that's Inverness in the middle of summer. The water pressure is a bit low so the toilet flush and shower weren't that great but it was useable.

The location is great, a short walk from the train station and restaurants etc. We had a fantastic view of the river from our room, with a nice window seat. The breakfast was good.

We booked a large apartment because we were traveling as two families. Unfortunately, one family had to cancel last-minute due to their child getting chickenpox. While other hotels were understanding and flexible given the extenuating circumstances, this property was not. Management was not accommodating or particularly kind, and we were still required to pay and stay, even though half our group couldn't join. Disappointing experience overall.

I liked the location and the convenience of a nice restaurant right at the property.

We felt the overall view of the hotel was that it was very tired. We were in the annex and it felt it really needed some work. Carpets in particular were in need of some attention. Furniture also needs upgrading. Entering the annexe area was very dark and subdued which is not a good look for the hotel. Bedroom we had was to the back of the hotel facing a wall which made it dark when dressing. I feel quite loyal to Glenmoriston as we have stayed regularly when we visit Inverness. However for the price you are paying seems high when there are other more modern hotels nearby.

We have stayed here 4 times previously which is what led us to book for ourselves and friends from abroad as we thought it was exceptional. Location of the hotel is very good. Overlooking the River ness is particularly stunning. Short walk to the town centre and all amenities. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of foods on offer. Also continental available.

It is a beautiful old building which means floors creak, so it is noisy. TV was outdated.

The only problem was smokers using the area below our windows to smoke resulting in a smoke filled room or having to close the windows.
