Unique, bespoke, magical. I was arriving late and (by arrangement) was welcomed and fed with seasonal tasting delights, each course accompanied by gorgeous mythic storytelling. Thank you so much to Sayward, Leon, Paul and family for this very special experience.

Not much to complain about. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. This was the rest and relaxation part of our busy visit to Scotland.

The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The beds are super comfortable and we loved bubble baths in the tub. Breakfast was yummy each day and our tea party was great! Can't wait to return once the renovations are complete. Would have loved a little gift shop to purchase a souvenir from our stay.

That we had to leave! I’m sure they would accommodate a single night stay but for us three night nights was not nearly enough. There is so much to do in the area and a few days simply enjoying the property would be perfect.

Wonderful estate with tasteful period details. Themes of mystical Scotland. Yes, we as a family stayed in three of the rooms in the main house. All the rooms were spotless and clean, andwell appointed. The team of staff was well trained and very attentive. Breakfast was delicious each day. The location is just grand for exploring countryside. But, you can stay at the house and enjoy the property too The whole family enjoyed the alpaca trek

Absolutely speechless. It doesn't get any better than this! The world may as well end at sunset on the terrace. Endlessly beautiful. Apart from WiFi, the hotel completely dispenses with digital equipment in favour of relaxation. Rooms lovingly furnished down to the last detail. Staff attentive but not intrusive and super friendly. Hotel explained in detail at check-in. Perfect service and breakfast. Incredibly great!

We had an amazing stay. Sayward and Deepesh were lovely and so accomodating - especially when we arrived late on the first night. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved the garden and the High Tea was the one of the best we've ever had.

We stayed in the 3 storey villa which is exceptional. Each room is very beautifully furnished in old traditional style. The bedrooms are spacious and beddings are luxurious. The library has a huge collection of whiskeys. Great choice for breakfast and the breakfast room is lovely. Our family of 5 fell in love with this property. It’s the most memorable stay in our entire trip.

Staying at Glencruitten House was like stepping into a fairy tale. The setting is magical—surrounded by peaceful nature, full of history, charm, and character. The house is beautifully preserved and feels both grand and cozy at the same time. . A special mention to the lovely girl at reception who was incredibly helpful and welcoming—she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Truly a hidden gem, and one we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended!

Our stay was upgraded to Elphame which is a beautiful mansions with three storeys. The villa is done beautifully and has an amazing collection of books. We also visited the winter woods that was hosted in the forest next to the property. Breakfast was delicious as well

Absolutely perfect stay - cozy and beautifully decorated room, gorgeous location with many trails for long walks, kind and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast. The house is located about 20 mins walk/5 minute drive from downtown Oban but we had no problems walking or getting taxis in the evening.

Glencruitten house is away from the main town of Oban. Peaceful location in an old house with loads of charm and character. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.

All was great. Can not think of a thing that could have made our stay better except for longer.

Best b and b we have ever stayed in. Food was excellent. Rooms were large and decorated beautifully. The Alpacas were an added touch.

We likes everything

The hotel was amazing. Very well decorated that makes you feel special. The luxury was everywhere. The room was even bigger than a regular flat with a stunning garden and lake view.

It far exceeded our expectations! The grounds were gorgeous and the Wild Dinner in the woods was prepared by a chef who served the entire meal prepared on an outdoor fire. The cost was reasonable and the dinner was served in a century old stone hut lit entirely with candles!

Breakfast was great! Setting and rooms out of a movie gorgeous! Sayward our concierge was exceptional in every respect and we enjoyed role playing in their first mystery dinner. Dinner was elegant and Paul and his wife, owners, deserve a round of applause for their warmth and hospitality!
