The spa & pool area felt outdated and not too hygenic, the pool water was so cloudy that you couldn't see past your hand when swimming.

The surprise upgrade was a welcomed surprise. Breakfast was nice also.

Breakfast was average, for a lovely hotel, it let down the experience. Tomatoes were not cooked and the sausages very tasteless. All other food however was really good.

Swimming pool and all facilities were really good and the whole hotel is a very nice place to stay,

I didn't like that I didn't get to use the facilities! Working late and early starts didn't allow me the opportunity to use this which is a shame!

Overall was fantastic, Breakfast was good. although I have Lactose Intollerance, there wasn't much i could eat so i stuck with normal easy food like Toast and Fruit!

Only thing we would mention was the breakfast - the produce was not the best quality - sausages bacon, fruit juices etc. £180 b&b - would expect a much better quality and selection .

Staff were amazing . So friendly and welcoming . Rooms were comfortable though the decor is a little tired . Loved the pool area.

As we arrived to late to eat it would have been nice if we could have at least bought some snacks from bar e.g crisps etc. Breakfast was OK. However at price point I would have expected more choice. Possibly limited options because it looked like not hotel wasn't too busy.

Staff were lovely. Reception staff were fast, polite and lovely to chat too. Bar staff super helpful. Arrived too late to eat but when I had an issue with the pringles machine they were more than helpful.

We arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday so had just missed lunch opening hours. Would have loved to have been able to have eaten on arrival but appreciate that locally a lot of businesses are closed around that time and staff did give us some recommendations of places nearby that were open which was appreciated. Breakfast was good but some more vegetarian options on the cooked breakfast (veg sausages etc) would be a nice addition.

Great hotel and rooms were very spacious and quiet so got a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful with reception helping us with a few queries and housekeeping checking we had everything we needed with our early check-in. We didn't use the pool/ gym facilities as didn't have time but they looked great from what we saw. Plenty parking.

Could have been more communication, ie how the breakfast set up operated, as this was our first experience of this kind of set up would have been nice to know that you could order, for example, your eggs cooked a different way.

The food was odd. It seemed as if vegetables don't make it into the kitchen. Whilst what we had tasted nice there were just odd combinations (pasta and honey chilli chicken that turned up like a soup), a lack of variety (everything was stodgy and heavy, no light options) and the food didn't match the high standards delivered by the staff and hotel.

Staff were extremely helpful, happy and everybody seemed to enjoy being there. It felt like staff had bought into the ethos of the hotel and shared it with guests. The rooms were really clean and in good order.

The relaxed atmosphere, the great service, a wonderful choice of foods and drinks. I have stayed here several times and it is always a great place. Clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing.

there was very little to dislike about the hotel. The breakfast could have been a bit better with a bit more choice.

The location was good for our business meeting in Cookstown. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was including in the room rate.
