Our only note is that the floorboards were quite squeaky but given how amazing the property was, this was a very minor inconvenience!

There was a huge amount of of space - a large living room, kitchen/ diner and upstairs games area. It also had all possible amenities to make the stay as comfortable and home-away-from-home.

Some little touches were lacking, considering the price. Nothing major but, for example, there were only 2 wine glasses for a house that sleeps 8. Overall the house was clean but I wouldn't say spotless, corners of the bathroom floor, drawers etc were all a bit dusty.

Great house, lovely large communal areas and the games/ cinema room/ bar in the attic is fantastic. Bedrooms have good storage space and we found the beds comfy. The location is excellent, plenty of walks from the doorstep and a few pubs and places to get food also in walking distance.

The location was a long way from Edinburgh but ideal if we had longer to stay in the property and used it as a Base to travel around the West of Scotland.

The house was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and to a very high standard. The hot tub was a very nice bonus having driven all the way from South Wales. The location was a bit out of the way for our trips into Edinburgh and the Kelpies but this was made up for by the beautiful views on the drive to the different locations. We will definitely be going back and I look forward to it. A lovely property. P.S. the cinema room and surround sound was FANTASTIC!!!!!

Firewood left for log burner (which we were really looking forward to using) but no kindling or firelighters - messaged on the guest portal about this and a couple of other minor queries but no response until after we'd left. A little frustrating buy doesn't detract from a fab place to stay...

Lovely modern house, well kept and clean, excellent facillities. Lots of room for us all, the games room upstairs was superb fun! Pool, table football, basketball hoop, home cinema, bar, fruit machine and more board games than we could play in a weekend! Good quality wifi even with all of us on it. Really liked the guest portal - lots of useful information there for before we arrived and planning our visit.

It was a great place to stay for a holiday. Neat and tidy with all the amenities. Great for small kids and young adults with all the games available. Would get it again if we come to Scotland.

Would have been perfect if all the games were in working order. My granddaughter was disappointed due to a few toys not having batteries.

More towels , the puggy should be free / on demo /its a good idea to have hard floors but they crack when you walk on them and is loud through the night if somebody goes to the toilet but that does not put me off coming for another stay .

Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with a last minute request. Easy check in and check out. Facilities were exactly what we needed - and had a BBQ for us to use in the garden. Excellent location with lots of things to do nearby. Plenty of space for 8 guests. The house had a very cosy atmosphere and we all loved our stay.

Was hoping to have a BBQ but it was a little rusty and filled with water. I understand this is the start of our better weather so probably not used all winter but would have liked to know it wouldn’t be ready.

The games room was a winner for our family, kids absolutely loved it. Karaoke was a hit for the adults. Gorgeous property with stunning views. Would definitely book to stay here again.

The weather. Such a beautiful location and we hardly saw the scenery.

The house was perfect for our needs, as the weather was dismal. A family group of over 60s, the cinema and games room amused us in between downpours.

Nothing….perfect home from home.

The games room and cinema suite were a good send for everyone! Loads of games to play together. The beds were extremely comfy, loads of storage and the kitchen is stocked with enough equipment to get by. The lounge with the stove is the perfect end to a day. Huge bath for ultimate relaxation. Good size garden and great for dogs. We supplied our own wood but the property owners can and will help you with this. You have access to the heating, a perfect addition for my in laws who feel the cold. Plenty of space to join together at the dining table and relax together in any of the communal spaces. Nice large fridge, I would recommend you stock up for your stay as the nearest supermarket is a good half hour away. But you can get a Tesco shop delivered. The views are spectacular from all angles of the house and the babbling waterfalls nearby are pleasant to listen to.

Home from home, lots of space for the children to play upstairs. Lovely cosy lounge with log burning fire. Nice spacious kitchen and dining area, plenty room for 8 people. The location is stunning, beautiful views from the house and on the doorstep of some great walks. Short walk to local pub/ restaurant. Owner was easily contactable when an issue arose and keen to get it resolved. Would definitely recommended.

Nothing everything was great

Great location & views. Very spacious & comfortable. Good parking for 3/4 cars. Wifi great. Cinema room with pool table fantastic, lots of board games to play with the family. Hosts were very accommodating (Lee & Kerrie) We needed calpol for one of the kids and was Boxing Day places were closed nearby. Lee got in touch with friends in the Arrochar area. Couldnt thank him more. Any time we needed to phone for anything they answered right away. Will be booking again next year

The house is so spacious, beds comfy, fantastic kitchen and brilliant games room, we are a family of six and the space was ideal. Communication great, well looked after and should be respected. Loved it.

The absolute only downside to this property was that if you’re broad shouldered and over 5 11 as I am then you’ll struggle to be comfy in the chairs in the cinema room, lounge chairs would be a beneficial addition instead to accommodate.
