We was on the top floor and it was so hot in there a fan would of been grateful. Dining room needs finishing as wires were everywhere with having a little one this could be a concern

Some areas looked a bit tired and could probably do with a repaint, it just took the shine off a little. You could hear the neighbouring room make a brew and have a chat through the walls, annoying at 6am! There was some noise from the road (not loads) and the window could do with some blackout blinds or curtains as there was a fair bit of light coming through the blinds,

This was a nice basic, single room with ensuite. There was enough room so it didn't feel cramped and it was clean. The room had tea making facilities, wardrobe and drawer space and an ensuite. I only saw staff on check in and check out and they were friendly. A budget friendly stay with a great location for a short drive to the ICC.

Parking is free however it's a bit tight for space. Didn't cause us any issues. Nothing else to worry about yesterday it's a city centre location no different than any other city!

Really great Hotel, decorated really well, part the way through an extensive update with modern up to date wall panels and decor. Great breakfast. Location is just outside the city centre and round the corner from the football and rugby. Would we go again -- yes we will

When we arrived on time (15.00) for check-in there wasn't anybody there. We had to phone proprietor. We then waited for approximately 15mins before someone arrived to let us in. Good job it wasn't raining. We were advised by local information staff in city centre to catch a bus to the property. That was totally wrong, the bus went well beyond our destination. The next day it took approximately 10mins to walk to city centre

Some parts of the room could do with some attention ie in the shower plug, there was an initial damp smell coming to the room, but overall the room was clean and well presented.

Good spacious room, tea coffee, towels provided. Good car parking space. Breakfast room clean and tidy. I enjoyed my breakfast but hubby didn't like the omelette as it was a bit pale looking. Only needed for the night. Overall good value for the cost.

Some parts of the room were unfinished. There was a wire sticking out of the wall where clearly a light was going to be put.

The staff were really welcoming and the room was spacious and clean. There was a good range of options for breakfast and I had a delicious cheese and tomato omelette that was cooked to order. The location was really handy for the centre of Newport and the train station, which I needed. The hotel staff were happy for me to leave my car while I was out for the day.

Breakfast time is not good, despite was Saturday I wake up at 9.30 am heading to restaurant but told me its over breakfast time is 7.00 - 9.30 am.

Toilet seat let it down the bedroom and bathroom were all lovely looked like everything was new carpets etc but the toilet seat looked old it was white but it had gone yellow could not understand they had put a really old toilet seat in such a freshly renovated bathroom

Unable to respond to any prearival request re early deposit of luggage and Seldom person on duty front desk and that person very limited understanding of English Made written request to and verbal query really understood promised Manager be in at certain time refer to him he will get back to me never happened so did not extend my stay found Belvilla way better value for money in service and location
