This has a lovely location next to the relaxing botanic gardens where locals stroll and relax. the local neighborhood of Stockbridge is quite pleasant, a pleasure to walk through and a few excellent restaurants. The only thing to be aware of is the walk, just over a mile to the royal mile. Be prepared to grab a taxi or uber if you re not up to extending your walking time. Our host, Sally was gracious and timely with requests.

Sally's place was SO lovely - truly better than the photos! We had such a relaxing time there, and Sally herself was so friendly and welcoming. We had just gotten engaged on the trip and she left a sweet note and prosecco to celebrate. I'll be thinking about our time at the Garden Rooms often :) The outdoor tub was so relaxing and aesthetic! 10/10 can't wait to go back. Thank you Sally!

Everything was perfect

The location was perfect, out of the huddle and bustle and in your own private haven, only a £7 uber ride or 20 min walk to centre or a bus outside…shops for food and pubs within 2 mins

I would say the only few nit picks I have about the property is there wasn’t a decent sized plate! Could benefit from a new Crockery set with larger plates or I just need to cook smaller portions not sure which! Tongs for the kitchen and bigger & softer luxurious towels! But that’s just me! Other than that it was amazing!

Loved pretty much everything about the property! The fact its location was just a short walk to the centre, it was also great to have the choice of sitting outdoor with our own private area too!

Comfortable and very well equipped. A beautifully converted place to stay that clearly has been given lots of thought. It was very convenient - easy for for us to walk to a wedding in central Edinburgh, yet very quiet and nice to wander into the Botanic Gardens on both days. Easy to park outside too.

I have nothing negative to say at all about this property.

This is by far one of the most beautiful little spots you could stay in Edinburgh. The Host is very organised and friendly. The size of the place for what you pay is outstanding and everything from the bedding to the mugs are high quality. I was so impressed with the place that I decided to propose to my partner in the garden area. It’s a short Uber from town and right next to the botanical gardens. I cannot recommend this place more.

The accommodation was beautiful, it had everything we needed. Communication with Sally was great and it was lovely to arrive to a few treats. Very good location too, around a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Would recommend.

We can't think of anything, we loved our stay

It was the little touches for us, the irn bru and the milk in the fridge, snacks and coffee, even a dram of whisky! Very comfortable bed, clean and neat surroundings. The garden was beautiful, lots of ambience and chill vibes, especially the outdoor bath which was needed after a long day spent walking around Edinburgh. Very private, felt like we were miles away despite being in the middle of a city. The shower was amazing and a very nice clean bathroom with all the amenities provided. Also the TV was great, virgin box set with all the channels and apps with access to netflix etc, with amazing internet speeds too. Overall the accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return again should we re visit Edinburgh. The host was lovely and provided a very in depth and detailed welcome pack, with all the information for everything we needed. If you're looking for somewhere intimate and romantic to stay in Edinburgh, the garden rooms is the place for you!

Amazing location (we love the Botanical Gardens) and unique garden layout. It fulfills a Japanese design idea of erasing the boundary between indoors and outdoors. The whole effect was relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. The garden was laid out beautifully with effective lighting.

My Fiancé and I booked the Garden Rooms as a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. We absolutely loved our stay. The room and garden were perfect, so quiet and peaceful. The room was spotless. And the Garden looks beautiful with the lights on at night. Sally left everything we needed for the weekend, including a welcome package, beverages, and whiskey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will return again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Great location, right next to the botanic gardens which are well worth a visit and a short but strenuous walk to the centre of the city. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The communication from the host was excellent, they made us feel very welcome. Lots of lovely extra touches, we enjoyed sampling the whisky and irn bru. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Such an amazing place to stay not to far from the town centre as bus available around the corner or if you want to walk around 20 mins, loved the garden the outdoor bath and the accommodation was fantastic inside, how they brought the old and the new together was amazing and the welcome pack they supplied explaining it all was lovely oh and we can't forget the decanter of some whisky 🥃 too even though I don't like it my friend had some and loved it. There was milk, juice, coffee and tea along with much more I would recommend this place to anyone and on saying that I mentioned it to my taxi driver tonight who took note of the name and said he was definitely going to look into it

Did find the door a little hard to lock and unlock but that may have just been us!

Loved the private location that was away from hustle of town centre. The rooms were very clean and modern with everything we needed and loved that we could cater for ourselves. We enjoyed visiting the local bar too! Outdoor garden was beautiful

Everything was really nice but the bed is very small for 2p (max 1.60m wide I'd say).

The size of the property was excellent, really lovely garden to look out onto, very peaceful, kitchen/bathroom excellent, couldn't find any fault at all, location not in the centre of Edinburgh but a lovely walk and easy to get taxis if required.
