Garbhein B&B was perfect. The property was modern, bright, fresh and very clean. Our bedroom was spacious & spotless including the En-suite which had a wonderfully powerful shower. There were plenty of towels available as well as more than enough tea, coffee, hot chocolate & shortbread. Our breakfast was wonderfull. Booked the evening before (although not necessary) the menu was endless with the usual fayre and more. Delicious & filling.

Lovely place, the area and the owners. We really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was good too. This place is clean to the highest level! Pub across the road was great for a quick drink before bed. Lots to do nearby, great location.

Certainly not the fault of the hosts but there are limited food or amenity options nearby, need to travel half hour north to Oban for any options. The listing mentioned a patio and dining table available in the "units" where in reality this is a shared space in the hosts home and other guests as well and so may not be appropriately labelled for people looking for an actual unit type setting where you can prepare your own food. It was a lovely homestay but I think the word homestay needs to be more clearly stated in the listing instead of the term "unit".

Gorgeous views from a beautiful little village type room share about half hour drive south of Oban. Very friendly and attentive hosts, lovely and clean room. Excellent breakfast cooked for you each morning.

The only downside was the lack of places for dinner within walking distance. One hotel and not always open. However, it was easy enough to have a substantial lunch while out and about and just snack in the evening.

This was one of the best we've stayed in. The hosts were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. A nice quiet location with amazing views, perfect for a chill which is what we needed. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice and all cooked as we waited. Lots of places to visit within a short drive.

I arrived to a warm welcome from Susan and Les, who helped carry my case to the room and ensured that I had everything I needed. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of hot water in the en-suite which had recently been upgraded. The Full Scottish Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good choice of available food. I would thoroughly recommend this B & B for a one-night stay when passing through or for a few nights as a centre for touring in the Oban area. As an aside, there are some fine views along the road beyond Melford Villiage! These translate into great sunset pictures at the right time of night in the right weather.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with immaculate cleanliness down to the finest details. A special mention goes to the breakfast, which was truly excellent and featured a variety of fresh, local products. The kindness and attentiveness of the hosts made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful room, very well equipped and nicely decorated. We had our own bathroom, very nice, with the window through which you could see the forest. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked for us and we could choose what we want -10/10! Our host was very friendly, gave us a lot of good suggestion for our trip. Definitely recommend!
