Mattress was too soft for my liking as was the living area sofas.

Good central location for exploring area. Walking distance to town. Cottage had everything needed to make meals at home. Very clean and tidy. Nice outdoor area if weather is dry.

Only one tiny grumble, the shower pressure was a bit low but still manageable. But there was plenty of hot water for four!

Fox cottage is so pretty, a gorgeous place for us to break our very long journey from Skye to Cambridge in comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought out, from the welcome basket to the lights left on for us when we arrived late. We will definitely return again, thank you so much Neil and Kathryn.

Beautiful little gem. We stayed for 1 night but wish it was more. I was here with 2 friends over from Turkey. I wanted to show them something different to the Turkish high rise blocks and 45 degrees heat 🥵 they love the cottage and want to take it back to Turkey 🇹🇷

Nothing other than we could def have stayed longer. It was very convenient and a highlight on our tour of Northern England and Scotland.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely Scottish town. The cottage has been renovated to a high spec and is very comfortable. We were visiting with our two dogs and it was great to be able to have a lovely garden to sit out at night with them in peace. We also made use of the bbq on our first of two nights which was a lovely highlight. We all slept like logs even the dogs downstairs who we were a little worried would keep us up in unfamiliar surroundings. The fox theme is done nicely without being twee and all in all a lovely place to stay. It was great to be able to walk into town in 10/15 minutes too.

We loved our stay at Fox Cottage. We were in the Moffat area for a family wedding and the accommodation suited us perfectly. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean and well located for walking in to Moffat or accessing the hills like Grey Mare's tail.
