We could constantly hear the water running through the pipes which was a bit loud. Otherwise it was great.

The location was very convenient. Close to the metro. Close to all the sites. Room was good for a night and what we needed.

The bathroom door was just a glass sliding door with no lock. So very little privacy when using the bathroom.

Very good location. Close to the train, castle and other local attractions. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room could have been bigger? Bed and pillows were on the firm side. The door keycards were "old style" magnetic, and the staff warned me about it reacting with phones. I had no issues, but it did preoccupy me a bit.

I travel to Newcastle for work now, and I've tried a few hotels at the lower price range. Four Points Flex is the first of three so far that has been very good. Clean room. Had air-con (vital on these heatwave days!) Working wi-fi. Well stocked. Breakfast was fine for me (they had hash browns) and the location is real close to central station. I'll be coming back for sure. Also, staff were able to keep my luggage in a safe location while I was away on my check-out day. Which was very helpful of them.

The property was in a good location as it was walking distance to the centre. It was clean, modern and all you could need for a weekend stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Reception were able to hold my bags even after check out.

Noise from the bar/nightclub downstairs. Excessive noise from that guests very late. I tried calling reception about this multiple times but no-one ever answered, so I sent a message via the Booking.com app and it also went unanswered. When I addressed this politely at reception the next morning the lady was quite rude and unhelpful.

I needed an accessible room, which was provided no problem.

Somewhere to place cases (eg table) would have been helpful. Breakfast cheap (£13.95) but not so cheerful. Room not cleaned despite us leaving at 8:30 and not returning until 4pm, Staff were rather "spikey" when dealing with a query on the balance to pay for one of our rooms. They were wrong and got rather aggressive & defensive. Told us that a taxi from the hotel to get to Newcastle Uni by 9am would take an hour. It took just over 15 minutes.

Superior King Room very spacious and light with full length window. Comfortable large bed. Small but nice bathroom with good shower. Some staff helpful & friendly. Quickly provided an iron & ironing board.
