Some staff didn't even acknowledge you entering and leaving the hotel. Cleaning staff locked the lifts for considerable time was annoying and was easier using the stairs instead of waiting 10 mins for the lift.

Location superb. Some staff were very helpful, others not so. Room and bed was very good. Literally 15mins walk from Edinburgh Castle.

The safe did not work and was not replaced. The staff had no explanation and could not provide a replacement. Twice the towels were not replaced. However, after I called the front desk the towels arrived in ten minutes.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were kept clean. The hotel is very centrally located to places of interest.

Only two pillows and one was very small. Requested an extra pillow but didn't receive it had to ask again. Our friends also requested extra pillows but didn't get them and were told that the staff couldn't find the extra pillows and that we had had the last one. Did think when I booked originally (12 months before) that the booking included breakfast however after a change of name from Cityroomz to Four Points Flex when we arrived we were advised that they didn't do breakfasts. The photos when booking originally made showed a breakfast area so we were disappointed that we had to go out and find somewhere to have breakfast. Wouldn't have booked had we realised that there was no breakfast.

The walls were pretty thin so I could hear everyone coming and going and any conversations that were above a low talking level. By the beds there weren’t any outlets besides the ones for USB chargers and so if you’re from outside of Europe you probably use USB-C more so just keep that in mind. I know I went during Fringe so it was rather expensive but for the price I was expecting a little bit more, but overall very satisfied.

Incredibly nice staff who went above and beyond to help me when I was incredibly stressed on vacation. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was great the shower was larger than most i’ve seen in European hotels. This is kind of a bare bones hotel though so the rooms aren’t very big and there’s not many service options which is totally fine! Just something to keep in mind :)

Hotel is in a great location. Staff were very friendly and always on reception which was nice to see. We had two rooms with a double bed and bunk bed in each. The rooms were clean and had everything that was advertised.

Sadly, we looked to book for a similar time next year and the prices have increased a lot.

The property had recently been refurbished so was in very good order, in particular a new bathroom. It was located at the end of Princes Street so very handy for everything. Really good value for an Edinburgh stay at this time of year.

Bottle water not provided for kettle. The deadlock on door wouldn't lock. Also, I wasn't shown to my accommodation, just provided with verbal directions to the external entrance, around the back of the building.

The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel provided a service to look after bags before and after checking in or out. Hotel was above amenities, such as boots chemist, retail, close to trams and bus stop.

No fridge or microwave in room, no place except tiny closet to place clothes. Even staff at front desk could not offer microwave service to heat something up. Price pretty steep for this quality of room.

All of the front desk staff were so customer oriented, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Location very convenient..airport bus stops right in front..loads of restaurants nearby. Bed very comfortable. Security excellent. Well managed property.

This was sold as a breakfast included and they’re not set up for breakfast. I would’ve booked somewhere else with the breakfast included if I would’ve known. I feel they should’ve compensated for their error in advertising.

Very helpful staff. As a lone traveler I felt very safe here. Within easy walking distance of all attractions I wanted to visit. My visit was during very hot weather and the fan provided in my room was brilliant.
