Loved its location, ease to park, great room, fantastic food, good drinks, staff were friendly and attentive.

Very minor issue but I booked a twin room as travelling for work and when we arrived was set up as a double. The bed was so big though we could have shared without it being weird but handily there were bunk beds in the room too so one of us had a bunk. I imagine it’s a miscommunication with me booking through booking.com

The premises were warm and welcoming the staff were very helpful the breakfast was very good car parking is just across the road and is free overnight and for blue badge holders

There are quite a lot of stairs to negotiate

All the staff at reception, housekeeping & restaurant, the welcoming hospitality & assistance , the cleanliness of room, the location, the restaurant.

Bathroom. Location was convenient. Very clean and comfortable room though small (you’d struggle if your weren’t a solo traveller)

The rooms at the back of the hotel are rather noisy as it backs onto a carpark where deliveries take place early in the morning and staff take their breaks during the night and chat/smoke which wafted into my room, had to keep all windows closed. Wifi was a bit dodgy.

Really comfortable (enormous bed), lovely family room. Friendly, helpful staff and great location

we took 2 rooms one was perfectly fine the other one had a bad smell and no option to open the window
