We were on walking trip on the coastal path so for us was too far out of formby Dining room tables too close together for breakfast and too small

The showers wasn’t very nice in the changing room. Loads of water on the floor. The floor in the restaurant was very dirty. For such a nice place a quick swipe in between breakfast and lunch. I understand you can’t clean when restaurant being used, but it was quite bad. Even customers next to us noticed as well.

Staff were I think not used to having 2 weddings at the same time, drinks were difficult to source which saved money I suppose.

Lack of sleep due to room closeness to upper stairway door. Constantly in use during the night resulting in door banging.

Not much. Pillows were slightly hard, but small issue. In the hotel generally, the largest missed opportunity was the bar facilities. The beer/lager/wine varieties stocked were pretty awful. The bar menu was limited and the staff on the bar had no personality. Put fixes in place and the bar could double the income easily considering the great views and constantly passing customers, both from the hotel and golfers.

Excellent room. Spacious, fabulous bathroom and shower. Good A/C and nice view over the golf course. Could not be better for us

Need to think low level on that question. We had issue with room on last full day, mix up on house rules I think.

Overall staff , v.good and attentive. Good atmosphere , in lounge area ( golfer groups , helped) Food , v.good. Took chance to travel to Liverpool. First time. First visit to area and Hotel, likely to consider returning, and get chance to pkay golf also

Booked a room with a terrace got one On the first floor order a cocktail Sunday evening but the bar had no Straws

Restaurant - breakfast wasn’t consistent, there were days with full availability and day when they removed all pastries due to ants on the table. Also we traveled with a 5m old baby and had problems couple of nights to put him to sleep because there was a fire alarm going off for over half an hour at 9pm and no one seemed to be fixing an issue, apparent error.

One of the towels in our room was dirty and some areas (the hallway and carpets) felt like they needed some TLc or updating.

The bed was insanely comfortable! 10/10! And the staff, every single one of them from the reception staff, restaurant (amazing), housekeeping to spa team were all incredibly helpful, friendly and just incredible! Really 10/10!!

Loved everything apart from my room hadn't been cleaned properly on the day of arrival I found a bowl of salad in my fridge lol Please dont let this put you off as everything else was spot on. And I would definitely recommend staying here n will stay again.

Staff and food all exceptional also was the spar n pool.

Bathroom smelt awful of drains or damp which was extremely unpleasant & had an impact on the smell of the room. The jacuzzi was not accessible in the spa which was disappointing
