Whilst it was generally a quiet street where there was no constant noise such as cars and people in bars etc, on occasion there would be people walking up the street without much consideration for people sleeping in neighbouring guesthouses and properties. They could be quite loud but would be gone quickly. This was completely out with the control of the owners. I'm a light sleeper and once I'm woken up I lie awake for ages so didn't get a great sleep. If you can get yourself back to sleep quickly you'll be absolutely fine. The water bottle provided in the fridge had leaked out and was empty when I went to take a drink so they might want to consider changing the bottles to prevent this happening again. I had my own water too so wasn't a problem at all. Just saying to inform the owners.

Really clean and tidy house and room. Facilities were great. Very friendly owners who informed me of everything I may need. Lovely little touches and considerations like chocolate on the bed. Information on the walls and in the binder. The guesthouse was quiet inside. No squeaky floorboards or noisy guests. Location was great, everything you needed for nice restaurants, shops and beach 5 minutes walk away. Felt very welcoming and safe

Beautiful decor in room and spotlessly clean. Large comfortable bed. Thoughtful treats and chocolates in the room, with a good variety of refreshments. Lovely tasty breakfast with lots of menu choices. Welcoming and friendly hosts.

I liked everything about this property. The room was spotless and comfortable. There was a small fridge with fresh milk for making tea and coffee, even some biscuits and chocolates. We had a lovely big bathroom with a bath and shower.

Oh my goodness the breakfast was amazing. It was cooked beautifully to order. Nothing was too much trouble. It was served hot and delicious!

Parking can be a little difficult outside the property, but there's a public free carpark not far. There is no view from the back bedroom, not that really mattered, it's a lovely base to explore South Sheilds.

Clean and comfortable room with a lovely en suite. Tea coffee, with fresh milk in a fridge in the room, which was a great idea. Ideal location to catch buses to Sunderland, lovely just to walk to the coast too and around South Sheilds. Breakfasts were amazing cooked to perfection and whatever you'd like, I tried pancakes, Salmon nothing was too much trouble full english was lovely too. Great evening restaurants within walking distance, too. Definitely would recommend to stay.

There was nothing to criticise.

We chose the executive room.It had lot's of space. We had the choice of separate bath and shower. I ordered a small breakfast, which had plenty on. It had a good choice and was lovely. All round a lovely place to stay .

Very clean, comfortable room. Excellent location with the beach within only a few minutes walk, and near restaurants and the Marine public house. Wonderful breakfast served with enthusiasm and conversation by owners Janet and Peter, who happily provide all assistance and local advice that anyone could need.
