Location great, staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities good with nice outside dining area open for breakfast too. I was glad I had booked the reserved parking as parking in the immediate area was very busy indeed.

Couple of little things - toilet flush knocks seat every time @ took ages to fill up. Don’t like overhead showers & control was very odd

Hotel is conveniently located in Southsea and very close to the beach. We stayed overnight for a party nearby and were very happy with everything. There was parking available and the garden restaurant was very nice and had excellent food. Breakfast was very good.

Beautiful and quiet room. Good location close to the beach, nice breakfast. Hotel provides a card for free parking in the neighbourhood. There is also a popular restaurant in the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

It should be clear on the website that parking is available and a parking permit is provided. A small detail but not clear from the website and from the reviews it looked as if garage parking was needed it would cost £15

A safe environment and good access to facilities in Portsmouth. Good choice of breakfast. Some of the staff were very pleasant.

Beautiful hotel is a perfect location - just a 5 minute walk to the lovely beach. Staff exceptional and so helpful (big thanks to Harrison for whom nothing was too much trouble!) Lovely breakfast and light, spacious room.

A minor point. The bathroom was a bit small and dated. Only a fixed rain shower rather than a rain and handset.

Parking is a significant issue and they do offer paid parking on site so do take advantage of a spot if you can. Lack of recreational spaces to socialise outside of the garden. There is a cafe/bar but seemed understaffed so was unsure if it was open.

The hotel is made up of different sites which all aim to cater to different guests needs. I stayed on the main location which had the garden area which I can imagine is really popular during the peak season. The rooms were nicely decorated and had enough facilities for one or two nights stay; I’d argue maybe the storage space would be tight for anything longer with a couple staying. The breakfast selection was really good and is set in a lovely airy space however, for those wanting a sweet or quick option would be disappointed. Would also appreciate the option of self servicing coffee/tea or juice. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout the whole experience.
