Our room was bright clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very satisfactory, including the provision of vegan milk for coffee and cereal, a bonus. Our hosts were very warm and personable, it was lovely chatting over breakfast.

It was a lovely house - very quiet and peaceful. It is a bit out of town but we like that. Our room had everything we needed with a big bathroom too. Monica and Adrian were so friendly and helpful. They had recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area. We had lots of interesting discussions about the history of Ireland. The breakfasts were just perfect!

What a fabulous place. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Monica had a full range of tea, coffee and coffee machine available throughout stay. Very quiet and great views They have tv in your room but also have a lively sitting room with a tv for more comfort that you share with the other guests Monica and Adrain great hosts and went above and beyond to ensure all your needs catered for and lots of great food. Thank you for a wonderful 2 nights stay and would definitely be back again.

Lovely quiet location, but not far from Derry City. Monica was very helpful with directions and suggestions of what to do in the city and where to eat. She was very friendly and we enjoyed her delicious breakfast.

No complaints!

Monica and Adrian were fabulous hosts and made us feel so welcome! It was like a home from home.. The cooked breakfast set us up for the day perfectly and everything in our accommodation was of a very high standard. There was ample tea/coffee on the landing next to our room and a fridge too with fresh milk. Monica was so kind to drive us into Derry when there was a mishap with a particular car park the night before. All in all, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Five Oaks!!

Wouldn't change a thing!

Monica and Adrian were the consummate hosts. They were so kind, offering us snacks, wine, advice on what to do, a most delicious breakfast, They are both very personable, asking and answering questions, we felt so comfortable almost like old friends by the time we left. Smart, funny, sharing their interesting personal stories as well as the history and culture of Derry. We felt very cared for.

Leaving

Everything! From the Hosts with Most to the location. Comfort and loving attention to detail . The bedrooms have comfort and all you need. The hot drinks ( and biscuits) bar with fridge on the landing is brilliant. The breakfasts are beautifully cooked by Monica to your individual requirements and on top of all that there is a guest lounge, with TV, games and books. Just like home but with a great view!

I can't fault anything at all about or stay. The hosts were such lovely people, and the room and breakfast were perfect.

Adrian and Monica made us feel as though we were part of the family. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensured we had everything we needed. We will most certainly be back.

Adorable country home not far from Derry and local spots. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable rooms and spacious bathroom. Owners Adian and Monica are friendly, opening and informative. They made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if we ever visit the area again.
