Description met our needs and lived up to our expectations. I did mention in the visitors book a bath mat for the shower and possibly additional socket in the kitchen, but no dislikes

Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, plenty of sofas, light and airy, garden view, parking. Bedrooms both a good size, furniture, bedside lamps, comfortable beds & excellent shower.

The seating space was welcoming, large, roomy and very comfortable. location is a bit of a walk from Tenterden .... it took about 20 minutes.

Lovely accommodation, the bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Stuart was very welcoming. We can thoroughly recommend Finchden Barn and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I would have loved access to the garden or more private outside space but there is a little area in the driveway with two lovely wooden seats which I availed of.

Stuart and his wife and daughter at Finchden Barn are SO friendly, kind and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable and so well appointed. Gorgeous oak beams and heavy embroidery curtains. The kitchen is very user friendly, and while the bathroom is small, it is functional and attractive. There is lots of light. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The accommodation is immaculately clean. Despite the age of the property and the fabrics, I didn't meet a single spider! The area is so pretty, with lots to see. I felt so at home here and simply didn't want to leave! I will be back! Thank you so much.

Very creaky stairs! Not so great if needing to go from the downstairs bedroom to the bathroom in the night! Also, no hairdryer (that we could find).

Characterful and comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and an overwhelming choice of dvds!! Questions to the hosts were quickly answered and dealt with.

Extremely comfortable stay and excellent facilities in this well converted barn. It was quiet and warm and the whole process was straightforward from beginning to end. We particularly liked the large, square coffee table for playing board games…!

A couple of points worth noting. The stairs creak so trying to be quiet going to the loo in the night is unlikely😀 and whilst the shower is nice and large the area of the loo is quite compact. Both guys in our party Found it a little restricted especially when the heating was on as the radiator was next to the loo.

We had a fantastic 3 nights at the Barn and throughly enjoyed the very rustic and quirky character. The screen separating the upper bedroom was unusual to say the least, the beds were really comfortable and the top quality bedding used was superb. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge and furniture was spacious and extremely comfortable, the location was great for touring that side of Kent and we enjoyed the quietness change from where we live. Whilst it’s not far to walk into Tenterden be aware there is no footpath for the first few hundred yards which is fine in the summer but in autumn/winter it’s probably not something we would advise, we did walk in, but took a taxi back. (Beware!!! Uber taxis do not operate around there) All in all a great place and great value.

A barn conversion appointed to an exceptionally high standard - imaginative and elegant, as well as comfortable and functional - on the edge of Tenterden, a very interesting and attractive historic town, and well placed for exploring many sites of interest

The weather!! That’s all.

We have stayed before at Finchden barn, and will stay again. The bed is super comfortable, there is no light or noise at night, and the shower is great too. The hosts are brilliant and sort any issue out immediately (a couple of bulbs had gone) and made sure we had more clean towels half way through the week. The only slight negatives are that it is a 25 minute walk into Tenterden town centre, and the hosts run a business from home and you have to be careful that clients don’t block your car in during the day - but the hosts do work hard to try to ensure that this doesn’t happen.

The apartment was spacious and airy with furniture and fittings of top quality. Whilst drinking outside in the sunshine the hosts noticed we had no side table for our glasses and so provided one.

size of the bathroom/toilet was a bit small

Location was very convenient and attractive. Property was very appealing and quiet but only a short drive to shops, restaurants etc. Barn conversion was very well planned, furnished and comfortable.

Fantastic accommodation in the perfect setting. Everything you could possibly need was there. I loved the open kitchen with the breakfast bar. Everything was so clean. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay again.
