The owners - Ellie and Mick - were so welcoming and it was a pleasure to stay in their exceptional rooms. We were two couples in their two rooms for hire. We were in the area primarily for a canal boating trip on the Llangollen canal but had a couple of nights at this property prior to that. These rooms and ensuites were really well appointed and very very comfortable. There was a nice breakfast room and a small sitting room which we were able to use. Breakfast was lovely, great variety and cooked to order. Really tasty and plentiful! Ellie and Mick made loads of helpful suggestions to ensure we got the most out of our stay and pointed our things to see and visit (hotels, sites) in the surrounding area. Always so warm and friendly. There were made "little touches" in the room to make us feel welcome which were above and beyond what would normally be expected. They even kindly invited us all for a drink and a long chat in their lovely garden one sunny evening, which was very much appreciated. Great value and service. We can't recommend this property and owners highly enough.

This is not a 'dislike' more a comment. It is not that easy to find in the dark! As it is down a lane behind some other houses.

I would be more than happy to give this super B&B at 6* rating if I could. The accommodation is lovely. The hosts Ellie & Mick, could not do more for you; they were very accommodating. The room was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated with all you need and more The breakfast is more than you can eat and very tasty, cooked to order I would highly recommend staying

lovely location - very quiet - whole stay was tranquil - good freshly cooked breakfast - gorgeously decorated room - very well equipped room with everything you couldpossibly need. Room will not automatically be serviced during stay, but Ellie very happy to do so when requested. Lots of little thoughtful bonuses (e.g. torch and brollies for trips to pub). highly recommended.

The lovely owners Ellie & Mick are welcoming, very easy going, fun & nothing is too much trouble. The property is immaculate & very comfortable. A tin of shortbreads & chocolate treats were left in our room for us 🩷 Very comfy bed with ensuite, extra soft towels, clean crisp sheets & bathrobes . Private breakfast room with small fridge & fresh milk across the hall. Full English breakfast was delicious & very generous with yogurt & cereals on offer too. We felt spoilt & rested after our stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. Falconwood is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. I hope to go there again soon.

Everything was first class.

The hosts, Ellie and Mick are lovely, they made me so welcome. Bobby the dog was very welcoming too! The accommodation is first class, and I did appreciate the little extras such as tea making facilities, biscuits etc. in the room. Everything is of a very high quality, the bed linen, towels. Breakfast was great, all needs catered for, and very nicely presented and cooked.I shall definitely be returning for another visit, hopefully soon!

We could not fault anything. Mick and Ellie were fantastic hosts, breakfast was excellent. The property was lovely , set in pretty gardens and overlooking the meadows. Also very quiet.
