Lovely clean room. Small room but comfortable bed, great attention to detail in terms of what is provided. We were in Oban for an event so were out and about all day anyway. Excellent breakfast. Also a parking space which is a bonus in Oban.

A charming place decorated with incredible flair and taste. As for taste, the best Scottish breakfast I've had. Very good location. Cozy, comfortably furnished room with bathroom with a beautiful view of Oban. We were a little sorry that we only came for one night.

The breakfast was excellent. The facilities in the room were very good and the person who looked it after was very kind and thoughtful. In general, we felt very warmly welcomed and very well looked after. The owner got out of his way to give us useful information for the town, the area and places to eat [which we always appreciate] and made sure we had a good time during our short visit in Oban.

Absolutely everything .. Thomas and Isabel have thought of everything and have added little individual touches that show a desire to raise their game .. e.g. small fridge in the room (every B&B should do this) and offer of fresh milk for in-room cofee/tea. I was in small single so bed against wall is ideal to ensure you don't roll off .. wooden pannelled surround is, therefore, elegant and beautiful. Extra hand rails on stairway .. excellent and thoughtful for those not so young and agile any more. And the i/d sign at the entrance .. carved wood .. epitomises the desire to excel. AND .. THE Eggs Benedict at brekkie .. wonderful.

I cannot think of anything we would change at Failtèe B&B. However, one should be aware that Oban is hilly away from the seafront, so the walk from Failte down to the harbour is fairly steep.

Fialtè B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts paid attention to detail, and every amenity was provided with the highest quality. Nothing was forgotten. Thomas was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. His suggestions as to restaurants, directions, etc., were 'spot on'. The location was convenient. Parking was available at the property. The room was very comfortable in every way. And breakfast was also very good. We enjoyed our stay and will try to stay at Failtè if we return to Oban.

Two flights of spiral stairs to get to our room

The breakfast was lovely. Variety of cereals,, fresh fruits and yoghurt, cheeses and delicious breads followed by a cooked breakfast .

The ensuite was really exceptionally small and the shower basically unusable. Otherwise the room, which was a single, was fine.

This is a perfectly pleasant bed and breakfast with comfortable bed but exceptionally small ensuite. It is located on a very steep hill (not uncommon in Oban) and has a very tight steep staircase which is typical to period but a bit of a challenge. The host was very good about taking by bag up and down the stairs for which I was very grateful,

I was cold in the evening in my room. I turned on the heather but it wasn't working. The owner send me message to check if everything was ok. I answered being cold and asked how to put a bit of warmth and I never had an answer... Also, the music in the breakfast room shouldn't be imposed. It is a good idea probably. But some people just prefer to eat in the quiet in the morning... Bathroom was a bit tight. Parking not practical (one car behind the other).

The owner was nice despite everything I wrote below. The room was very clean. Boiler, teas, water offerd in the room. The breakfast was ok.
